My experience at at an Oxford house sucked . I’m 21 , and everyone in the house was 50+ and had been sober for years and I think my presence was something they weren’t used to and they hated it . They tried to vote me out 3 times for legit no reason until I just moved out to a different house . Every house and person is different, but my experience sucked . Made me hate the recovery community

Putting alienated people in charge and giving them responsibility gives them a sense of belonging and a role to play in this world. Also becoming advocates helps people out of alienation. This is the simple solution/prevention to drug abuse, gangs, terrorism, video games,... need not spend thousands for mental health awareness or walkathons. Save the things that give humans a sense of belonging.
Unfortunately not all places have zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs. It can be hard when your seriously trying to stay sober. Can you truly recommend this place for my friends still struggling with addiction? It’s not easy in Hawaii.
