I’ve went over this scenario over and over in my head on if the world was ending tomorrow what rifle am I grabbing and what optic and every day it changes. But what never changes is it isn’t going to be an AGOG weight is a real thing and I’m not carrying around a tank that is really really bad in low light conditions, it’s going to be a T2 most likely with a quick disconnect magnifier. But the gun is a whole different story…. My sp5k with an AR lower Geissele trigger and all that jazz is the quietest with the wolf man and sub rounds but not a lot of range and ammo is heavy, my bore buddy competition 22lr AR is also very very quiet with the dead air mask and I can carry 1,500 rounds on me easy without it weighing me down. But then again you have low range and stopping power. I guess it really depends on what kind of fight you’re going to be fighting and what your goals are. Like my Alexander Arms 17hmr again quiet surprised has the range to hit out to 300 yards accurately and can carry 1,500 rounds easy has good penetration but not a ton of stopping power. I think quietness trumps just about everything besides reliability. The ammo you can carry isn’t a huge deal because if you’re using 9 or 556 you can acquire it off of your enemy after they go to meet Jesus.

I bought an ultra tech from blade hq awhile back. The $350 knife arrived used! You could tell someone tried to sharpen it and returned it. I contacted microtech and they replaced the blade for me. No charge! After receiving a used $350 knife from Blade hq I trusted Microtech to take care of me, not them!

They are BOTH SUPER GREAT , I have FIVE different Beretta's that's how much I love them . M9A1 FSR-22LR , M9A4 RDO , 92XI SAO RDO , CHEATA 80X RDO , CHEATA 84-BB . RESENTLY THE CZ 75 SP-01 Shoots great it does fit the Beretta holster but I'll probably not carry it because of the weight, Beretta is the biggest I'd carry at 33+oz.. The 380 84-BB is a nice carry size or the G-19 w/EPS Holosun. Is my designated carry.

I carried both the 9mm and .40 P99 on duty back in the early 2000s. A PPQ M2 is among my EDC cadre. IMO, the P99/PPQ is what Glock and all other polymer handguns WISH they were.

The .22 Bobcat and the .32 Tomcat have been discontinued. This is crazy - just picked up both with threaded barrels for silencer use. What a shame they are gone. Thanks for the review. I am looking for the beretta 71 threaded barrel.

Reasonably priced if you're rich. Especially since you show a Trijicon ACOG. Most Americans can't afford 2k for an optic

To me the PPQ’s were the pinnacle of striker fired guns as the triggers and ergonomics rival 1911’s. People ding them for the lack of optics support but for me I never cared about that for a carry gun.

What are your current thoughts after the years have passed? I have a uspct. I absolutely love it and am obsessed with it. My one gripe is the lack of rail, and that no one makes new suppressor height irons anymore. 😔🤦 I have used both the ggg rail and the Surefire mr08 I prefer the Surefire rail but you are limited to Surefire lights. The ggg rail you can use a tlr7/8 Been thinking about a 45ct but I don’t like that it’s not made in Germany. Maybe it’s all in my head. But I don’t think a us made Hk is a Hk If it had the Batman grip I’d probably already have it though 😂

Put a camming guide rod from TWS on it. That's how they address their top rail moving up and down.

What a pleasure to watch your review of the Ruger Redhawk. One can clearly see the passion that you have for this outstanding first class revolver. I understand your feelings of wanting a powerful, well built revolver that can be quickly loaded in the field when dealing with a pack of Wild Boars, Bears, Wolfs, Mountain Lions etc. I always wanted to buy a Ruger Redhawk 44 magnum and never did. It has been on my mind lately to eventually get a Ruger Redhawk in 41 Magnum, 44 Magnum,45 Colt and 357 Magnum. Having handled and shot both the Redhawk and Super Redhawk, I prefer the looks, grip fit and feel and balance of the Redhawk. I may also get the Super Redhawk in 454 Casull to complete my Ruger DA Hunting revolver series. It would be good if Ruger would offer an 8 plus inch long barrel in the Redhawk and Super Redhawk. Good job, keep the videos coming!

"Spread genuine firsthand experience" Alright, you said it. Personally I lined up the MRO on the same rail as a Vortex UH-1 and Vortex Sparc Solar. The MRO has noticeably larger parallax even when accounting for the larger front lens. I'd switch the MRO in front of and behind other red dots and still notice the parallax even at the center 50% of the lens. Not much of an issue at 50 yards, but 200-300 yards shots would often result in missing 2/3 sized torso targets. But when explaining this online, people would just say I'm a bad shot, or that I don't know how to use a red dot. So I sold it, and somehow every red dot after has resulted in tighter groups on that same rifle. MRO didn't work for me, doesn't mean its not usable by others. I just don't think its right to discount all the criticism as internet nerds that have never used the MRO. Glad it works for you, but that's been my experience. Love the ACOG though, Trijicon nailed that.

I’m looking at between the ruger mark iv standard, target, and competition model. I’m just looking for a fun plinking .22 gun. Do you have any suggestions? The target version is stainless steel if I’m not mistaken. Have you shot different variations of the mark iv if so what’s your favorite.

I bought this pistol a few months ago...and I can't stand it. It looks cool. It is very ergonomic for my small hands. But unfortunately there are two issues with the actual design that I see. First, for some reason this pistol just does not group tight. It is not an "accurate" gun and is very sensitive to ammo choice. And second and most important, this gun is built to accept a suppressor, but when using one it gets more blowback of gas and particles than ANY other pistol I have when suppressed. Honestly this thing is outright dangerous to shoot without top level eye-pro...and ordinary eyeglasses don't count. You need to completely protect your eye with no gaps. I know, you should always use eye pro, but sometimes you can't..say if using this as a nightstand gun with a suppressor on. You need to be able to shoot safely bare and this gun cannot do that (The FNX-45T can by the way). I think the issue is apparent when he takes the gun apart....there is a huge v-shaped cutout on the bottom of the slide that allows way too much crap to blowback to your face. If you have one of these do this experiment...unload the gun, cock the hammer, shine a light down the barrel from the front while looking at the hammer area from the rear....you can see the large open space this cutout leaves. This is the source of the blowback and it is a stupid design. This gun is not safe for civilian use for anything but a range toy with top their eye-pro...in my opinion....too much eye risk. The safest pistol I have to shoot "bare"? A suppressed Glock 19...very little blowback.

I had the same experience when I first tried a semi-auto. I can call myself a revolver enthusiast, but I'm more of a wheelgun degenerate. First gun was a stainless steel model 60, second a ruger lcrx in 22lr, next kimber K6s, then the 442, the model 19 carry comp, and now my model 360PD. I took a friend who has a high capacity 9mm. He couldn't hold a yard group at 15. When I tried it? Shot all 16 rounds in less than 6". That, and by my 8th or 9th bullet I was really thinking that I should be reloading, as I never once shot over 6 rounds before doing so XD I shoot 357 out of my j-frame 360PD. When you've only been shooting revolvers all your shooting life, it just feels a bit stout. Not unmanageably painful. But this also comes from a person who shot a whole 20 round box of 500 magnum rented out for a birthday present, and wanted to shoot more (but couldn't because damn they are expensive). Everyone at the range thinks I'm insane when I only bring a ammo case of 357s to practice with my 360PD. No, just a degenerate.
