After the bridge is completed, lit up and looking spectacular, there will be Bp walking all over it pretending they had something do to with building or doing anything positive for Detroit really. Live the lie, Bp, live the lie.
I'm a union Steamfitter of 39 years, I think these shots are a work of beauty ! Those two Manitowoc 's for all of you engineers out there you can't ask for a better " point of the moment " outstanding you guys on the bridge you make the trades look good !
Mybe The camera distorts the view of the bridge, but it looks like the Canada bridge is a bit Lower at the ending and the Concrete decking is not finish jet, it would lower it more. How are they are going to fix it. I Can't wait to see the next final connection of the bridge. Thanks for showing it.
Boa noite meu nome é Maurício idelfonso sou do Brasil de são Paulo e estou acompanhando todos os episódios aguardando o término da ponte parabéns e um forte abraço.❤
The choice of music is stellar! The clarinet playing, in partcular, is as smooth and mellow as I have ever heard---especially for such fast jazz passages. Please name the group and song title. (The video composition is great, too.)
he cannot since he is an American - he cannot cross over into Canadian airspace without a permit. AND plus with a Drone permit into Canadian airspace, it has to abide by height and weight of the Drone, specifications that the U.S. does not have. You might, however check out BobJonesRealitor who is Canadian and does those videos that you desire. If you would like Michael to do this, this could get him into serious trouble with the Canadian Govt' and if convicted of flying illegal would result in jail time. Michael since he is American, he would have to have a permit to fly in Canada, and not only that, he would need approval to fly at certain times from Transport Canada. Know your facts.
I have been watching almost since when you started posting videos. It has been interesting to seeing it get built. I am sure the engineers and the workers will align the two sides ok for the finished roadway. It should be great to see the final piece put in place and then the finishing work till opening day. Thanks for the great videos showing the progress.
Similar to the giant balls attched to overhead power lines or beacons atop bridge towers or antenna poles, they are a warning to people. Whereas the others are warnings to aircraft, these bladders are a warning to tall ships that there is something hanging below the bridge.
Yeah it is higher. They will be bringing it where it goes by adjusting cables, using hydraulic rams and installing the mid-span closure. Thanks for watching.
They still need to install the "mid-span closure" section which will have more pre-cast concrete panels and steel. My title is saying it's the last slab before that.
I know it is not worded the best. It's the last concrete slab before both sides start building out the mid-span closure section. I'll have more videos coming soon, thank you for watching.
@@MotorCityAerial I understand what you said. To me it implies that the remaining pieces will be custom made to fit the remaining gap exactly. It’s well worded, some people can’t read. Great views!
Every time I watch one of these videos I am just amazed at them. It's absolutely amazing what we can do. The drone footage is incredible! This bridge will be here when we are not. To know this and see it taking shape in mind blowing to me.
I am assuming they will be adding additional stay cables to this segment on the American side, but why are they not added before putting all of the precast concrete segments in place? Notice the stay cables on the Canadian side are all finished... it looks like there are only about 1/3 of the total cables in the last stay cable. Just curious why this would not be done prior to placement of the concrete.
This section will have 2 stay cables just like the other sections. The mid-span closure section does not have stay cables. I ddon't know what determines the order of actions to take place for each segment,. but the stay cables have always been installed after the precast concrete panels.
