Are they using plywood instead of Q-deck under the concrete on the approaches to the bridge on the Detroit side?
@brandonpratt5130
@brandonpratt5130 18 дней назад
Yes plywood forms on approach. No quick deck anywhere

@@brandonpratt5130 Some of that plywood looks old and black with mold, shouldn't they inspect it before laying down rebar?

@@timothyokane9710 laying down rebar takes a long time some of those sections have been up for over 3 months now. It was all brand new clean sheets of plywood. I am sure what your seeing is simply shadowing from the rebar as there isn't much room between them.

How do they tension the stay cables?

I'm not too sure how all that works. Thank you for watching, more videos coming soon.

What's the purpose of the red balls hanging from the 4 corners of the under work area?
@MotorCityAerial

I'm not too sure the reason for those. Thank you for watching.

Why do we never see the top of the towers?
@MotorCityAerial
@MotorCityAerial 11 дней назад
I always stay under the 400' which is required by FAA. You can fly higher if you are near a structure like the bridge but I still don't. Thanks for watching.

👼 Why don't you ever fly above the surface of the water? 🌊 🌊 🌊 😊 🙏 🌼
@brandonpratt5130
@brandonpratt5130 18 дней назад
Some drones have a hard time with reflection from the water with their ground sensors and have been known to drop into the water.m

@@brandonpratt5130 👼 I don't think so, maybe he just hasn't figured out to do it yet). The drone can fly over the water, sensors are not an obstacle to this. 😊 🙏 🌼

@@235buz 👼 Well, it's a controversial point, I'm talking about flying, over the very surface, at an altitude of just under a meter, over the water. 😊 🙏 🌼

I don't see a need to fly a meter above the surface!! Especially with the bridge I'd rather get a view from a higher height. Maybe look into FPV drone videos if that is what you like. Thanks for watching.

Why does this guy not show the distance between the spans?
@MotorCityAerial
@MotorCityAerial 11 дней назад
To get the perfect angle looking exactly from the side I would need to cross, or come very close to, the international line which is at that exact point, which I do not want to do. On future flights I will try and get a little closer to get a better look. Thank you for watching.
