At 82 I am still listening to their music regularly. I remember getting Days of Future Past and from that moment was hooked. Time existed only in terms of how long I would be waiting for next album. It was compulsory to use headphones to get the full effect of their music.❤
His last song with The Moody Blues,,, and in my opinion, his best! The band was never as good afterwards! I’ve seen them four times at four different venues across America; twice with Mike, and twice with the conceited Patrick Moraz!

I remember where I was, what the weather was like and what i was driving when i heard my first Moodie Blue song: Ride My See Saw. I was a college student at North Texas and became totally hooked on the Moodies. It was also the first time i had ever seen a Datsun 240Z that took my breath away. I bought their album and every album there after. I remember seeing them in concert in Dallas when they played Have You Heard. Went with four buddies, had some smokes and when they played this song it was like the whole building had taken off and was flying in the sky. Like wow I mean.
I took my 75-year-old mom to a Moody Blues concert years ago, maybe in 1998? They played with the Louisville Chamber Orchestra. People around us were smoking weed and saying how cool it was that my mom had come. She loved it. When I was little she'd play their album Days of Future Passed while we did our "Saturday deep cleans".
Hey, being in my late 50's, I suddenly feel young among people in their 70's! Lol No seriously, as someone who's always been heavily into prog rock and heavy metal I've always felt a deep connection with songs like Tuesday Afternoon, Question and The Story in Your Eyes. They had big hits but cannot get enough credit for their influence on prog and symphonic rock in general. 👍
74 years old. The Moodies are my all time favorite band. Ray Thomas wrote the songs that were a telling of my life. Lucky to have seen them live 4 times.Their music is positively genius and way ahead of its time. RIP Ray, Mike, and Graeme
