If you can get those down to the flounder I bet they'd hit that bait. I'll have to try them around the tunnels and bridges in the Chesapeake Bay. Finding keeper size (17.5") flounder is tough with all the small ones and the tail biters. Maybe a bigger bait like that would eliminate some of the little ones. I tried 5" gulp shad and swimming mullet today today, plus 4" swimming mullet, and caught about a dozen shorties. No keepers.
Are you sure there is Infiniti Cross there? Does spool move really slowly? There is no mention of it on the official site. I really hope they ditched this system
@i.o.3563 I wouldn't have said it if it didn't have it. Infinity Cross,Infinity Drive, and Dura Cross are now in this reel. Check out JP Derose youtube for a full breakdown on all the features.
@@Jessewrightfishing that’s the thing. I’ve just been to Japanese website. And there is no mentioning of Infinity Cross within the technologies. On some videos I noticed the spool goes up and down rather quickly. Not like in Stella. So that’s why the question
@i.o.3563 I was just at ICAST and asked the guys at Shimano what new technologies are in the new Vanford, and this is what they told me. They took the 3 new techs that were put into Stradic FM last year and added it to Vanford this year. As for the slow osolation, I'm not sure.
@@Jessewrightfishing That is so odd maybe some fish don't like the gold flake. Wright Stuff imitates a mud minnow? I typically use rootbeer or root beer chartreuse in the fall and winter. White and green in the summer. Right now in my box i have a brown doa cal 3 inch and a 5 inch wright stuff jerk shad gonna try those next trip to Dunedin Causeway.
@JP-mh4cs I'm a little biased, but that Wright Stuff color( golden bream) has been a color that's worked for me for over 15 years. It is similar to rootbeer but has bigger fleck and a few different colors in that glitter. Good luck out there! Hope you get on um.
Hi there I just watched your video but I can't seem to find were you took the bail arm mechanism apart ,my authority 2500 stopped clicking back properly and closes untimely causing my line to break on casting ,,I wonder if you can advise? Thanks
I did pretty good Friday with a Z-man Jerk Shad. The wind had me throwing larger baits. I've not been out on a low tide in a while. I was your fifth like on this video.
@TCampbell1990 Absolutely love them. I've always wanted to try one since we got them at Betts, so I knew once I made the move, I was going to get one. They are lightweight yet strong as steel. I definitely recommend them, and I'll probably be getting more soon.
@@Jessewrightfishing I’m a huge shimano guy. I have older shimano rods I love. I really like the bull bay rods. However if money wasn’t an issue, my whole line up would be nrx+ rods lol. Keep smashing them bro
@TCampbell1990 Thanks man! Those old Shimano rods are money. I used to have a Calcutta and loved that thing. I just picked up an NRX+ with a Twin Power FE 3000. I'm excited to give it a shot.
I'm actually shocked that bait worked so well in that dirty water. I almost picked up a pack of that shinner but didn't think it would work. Clearlyim wrong 😂 I'm hoping they bring the wright stuff and or redfish toad to the 3.5" JerkshadZ.
I want a fish to concentrate on the skirt or trailer on my jig because that should IMO be the main focus where the hook is so I have the maximum hooking percentage and catch more fish😉
