Arnel was found doing Karoke .. He has kept the sound of Journey Alive. The Band, The original Band will never reunite. Never. I've accepted that they will never get back together.
Neal Schann hates Steve Perry. He loves money. So this is Journey. Why he hates him. Steve left the Band at the Peak of their sucess. No valid explanation. Just left. Valid reason to hate him. Steve Kooked out.
@@Eddyandthecruisers Yes, Neal loves money and fame, but that's normal. But please please please do your homework. Steve left the band for medical reasons. Emotionally, he needed time with family because his mother had just died. At the same time, Steve was suffering severe pain in his hips due to arthritis after running around on stage for 10 years. He was getting medical care, but facing hip replacement surgery. Neal gave Steve an ultimatum: Get back to work or "we'll replace you." Arnel was hired from the Philippines and moved to the U.S. because he sounds similar to Steve. But it's all music composed by Gregg and Neal, or Steve and Jon. Arnel deserves lots of props for keeping the interest going, but Steve left for huge and very important reasons. Out of self-respect -- major surgery was not a band decision. Grieving was not a band decision. And like you and I would want for ourselves, time to heal and rest after being on the road for years.
Please move on steve perry like and accepted arnel for arnel publicly acknowledged . And also idolized steve and would willingly stepdown if steve comes back
Thanks for sharing this nicely taken video of yours, love it! Journey with AP always gives an incredible performance each time, AP possesses that touch of youth and vitality to withstand such a brutal and hectic Tour schedule, and despite his mid 50's he looks a lot younger, an amazing singer, and a phenomenal performer! BRAVO!
Love this song, but I'm surprised that it was underrated.. AP vocals showed how amazing here, but oh well, there were more than 173 songs of Journey, which does not include their new Freedom Album yet, so, it depends on the time and years when some music can be a hit or not. Just look at Don't stop believing, it did not become an instant hit..look at it now, it was a Mega Hit song!!
Thanks for sharing, Wheel in the sky is the first song of Journey that became a hit instantly, long before Don't stop believing! And AP is always nailing it each time he performs on LIVE Concert! AP's vocal versatility and unbelievable energy are the fuel that keeps the Journey Concert rocking for many years! Congratulations AP for 15 years as frontman....and counting!!
Thanks for sharing, lucky you for capturing that iconic Concert! Look at that, Journey was nearly at the end of the concert and Arnel maintains that super energetic performance at its best despite that that the weather must be cold as they are all wearing thick outfits, done outdoors! Maybe this was taken after the heavy flooding in NV if I'm not mistaken. Yes,, the weather is unpredictable nowadays, but the show must go on, as the saying goes! Journey rocks!!!
I'm glad that Journey's frontman at this stage in time is a lot younger than other members of the band! AP is in his mid 50's but he looks a lot younger!! To carry on such a brutal hectic Tours schedule, Arnel performs incredibly well with those difficult high notes Journey songs, whether it be ballads or rock songs, he is simply phenomenal to withstand such so much pressure for sure! Thanks, N Schon for finding AP, he's a great find, he is truly a great singer and performer, Hats off to AP!
I grew up on Journey in the 80's. It was impossible to keep listening with the other lead singers that came along, I'm sure they're great singers but just wasn't Journey. This guy Arnel though... I'm a Fan He's incredible, what a find, incredible talent. Arnel is better and stronger now than when he first started out with Journey.
