I just discovered Arnel and Journey a few months ago even though Journey was popular in my youth. I went to the Philippines as a missionary in 2000 and love the Filipino people! I was touched by Arnel’s story of homelessness and his mother’s influence. I listen to you almost every night. Thank you Arnel for giving your best every night! I hope to meet you someday! Dear god, Deen Castronovo is back with Journey, that's awesome. Shows the support and love between these guys to each other. I guess Ross Valory is not with the group? Arnel Pineda's voice is just as awesome.
I grew up on Journey in the 80's. It was impossible to keep listening with the other lead singers that came along, I'm sure they're great singers but just wasn't Journey. This guy Arnel though... I'm a Fan He's incredible, what a find, incredible talent. Arnel is better and stronger now than when he first started out with Journey.
It's nice but I feel that difference... perry had a deeper lower register.. I think Pineda I'm a great singer but nothing close to steve..Steve... I miss perry so so much... classic journey lives in every corner of my youth. But honestly I doubt Steve will ever front this band again. Too much damage, pain and suffering. And though he gets his cut from their performances, what schon did was inexcusable and will prob end any hopes fir us that Steve would return. It's sad really because that magic with Jon on keys 🔑 schon on guitar and Steve bringing in that it factor will never ne repeated.
@Flynn Taylor, we don’t know the whole story. I just hope that they can sort it out, get through it and that the band will continue playing for fans like me who appreciates them.
I'm a big perry fan....buy I honestly prefer pineda. He has more range, more stamina, and he is very versatile. Perry had a thin voice, pineda has a more heavy, thick voice. Pineda was just born to sing
@@patriarch3056 you're entitled to that and I respect it but it doesn't change my mind. I guess it's that nostalgia because I want the songs to sound as I heard them in their prime... journey was the sound of my youth with all the wonderous highs and lows that come from being a mixed up kid trying to understand why she is so tangled up in the pain of love ❤️ I cant find that unless Steve's vocals are front and center, I think Steven's deeper lower range cannot be matched. There is only one steve perry that is the classic journey I know and love.
