That "creaking sound" is one of your chassis legs scratching at your bulkhead.. 🤔 You might want to check that, the extra torque of the Chevy engine could be an issue, you may need extra torsion bars under the hood to take the extra strain..
Not a one year. I had a 83 SEi as well. Leather was all that it was cracked up to be. Yes my 83 was fuel injected as well. Unfortunately when the belt broke it bent valves. Unfortunately that was a fortune to fix back in the 90's. But I sold it with 345k and still going like a champ.

The leather seats is what I really love. That’s just phenomenal. I have the SE 4 door version, seats are so uncomfortable. I wish I had the leather seats like you do. And good video,
Who kept that J30 so clean for so many years. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I remember seeing that car in the Doctors parking garage at a hospital, the following Sunday I had to go to the dealership to see all of the Infinitis . Great car great memories Dexter Lombardo likes 🤠 🧔
These sedans are probably some of the best looking 4-doors to come out of the seventies. I'm happy with my XJS6 4.0 coupe, but I'd love to have one of these as well one day.
Im curious how has adding the lift affected the ride on the ground? Do you notice any difference in performance or gas mileage? Also how do the all terrain tires ride on the road compared to road tires? Are they noiser or do they ride rougher? Im asking because I have gone from an suv to a minivan and I actuslly love the more sporty low rude of the minivan on the road. I like the idea of being able to aventure off road but ot sure how much I would do so and if its worth giving up any on road performance?
my dad had one in the late 80s in ukraine... in a green "bottle" color...(thats what that mercedes color was called lol) in a neighborhood of about 5000 people.... i was the coolest kid lol. it wasnt even slow... compared to ladas ghigoolis and volgas lol. diesel was free for my dad... so we would go on roadtrips every weekend.
I want my 91 prelude SI .....like a lil go-kart......I owed an 89 si amd an 91 si.....last year before they changed up the body style.....if i knew them wjat i know now id still have both.....people are paying crazy prices for them now
The headliner, lol. I had an '85 "Type 10" Cavalier and when I got around 90k miles, the headliner did that all over. I used flat thumbtacks to keep it up until I sold it around 120k miles.
