2020 started off like any other year. I had plans to do the same things I have always done. Invitations to my son’s third birthday party were just sent out and my mother was celebrating her 67th birthday when the country shut down! Like everyone else I was devasted that our lives just stopped. What was I going to do with my time?? Well at this point I had watched hundreds of hours of tumbler tutorial videos and dreamed of making them myself one day and I decided now is the time to do what I have always wanted to do! So, I bought all the “stuff” to make cups, and there is a lot of stuff! I LOVE making these cups! I still have some of my first failed cups as a reminder that I have come a long way. I have suffered from anxiety, depression, and alcoholism in my life so being creative leaves my mind free of wondering. I need to be creative to keep myself sane. Each and every cup is a personal triumph and I am honored to teach you how I make these tumblers.
I hope my grandson will be as hands on as your little one. After 3 daughters and 5 granddaughters our babiest girl is having a boy! He’ll actually be my very first “biological” grandchild. Our older two are from my hubby’s previous relationships. Our grand babies range from 21 to 5 months. Such a beautiful blessing it’s been. Baby boy is already being rough with his mama. Kali(kay•lee) stays green. Poor baby. Soon, we’ll have 7 grand babies! Our oldest is expecting just 3 weeks after her baby sister! She also has the 21yr old, 16yr old and the 5 month old. Her hubby didn’t think he could have babies. Well, SURPRISE! You’re about to have 2! Can you tell I’m ecstatic? 😆 I’m so glad to see you back. I know I’ve had a rough go this past year. Having so many things to try to road block, but I persevered! Glad to see you did too. ❤ Welcome back! Beautiful work!
Those udders are too cute! What glitter did you use on them? I couldn’t find it listed. Then again, I went to the eye dr this year for reading glasses and walked out waiting on progressive lenses to be made. 😳 I’m so glad you’re back, neighbor!❤

Yah that’s a beauty!! I agree on moving the words around like you did 👌 If it was me, I’d buy another rim trimmer so I had one at each level to save time changing the blade height every time 😅 bc you use that tool a lot. Thanks for sharing 🌹 see ya next time 😊

2 to 1 ratio is usually more of a mold and deep pour epoxy. Definitely not the best option for tumblers in my opinion because it’s not designed for it. Just my thoughts of doing both deep pour and tumblers 😊. Deep pour epoxy takes much longer to cure too. On another note, that tumbler is beautiful!
Thank you so much!!! Yeah, I'm going to try it but I have not had the best of luck with that kind of epoxy for tumblers. But for a mold or keychain, it was awesome!!!
