Hello, what I need on my solar panel is to turn off the automatic mode. Since there is no one at my house, which I only go to on weekends, I don't want it to turn on automatically. I just want to open it from the remote when I go. How can this be done?

Good information. For people looking for information on repairing solar lights... You will notice in this video that the infrared remote control receiver sensor is a small, black cube, on the end of the three white wire cable. I just repaired a different solar light, where this sensor failed. It was difficult to diagnose, because it failed partly on. The microcontroller was fooled by this state and refused to turn on the light. The part number is typically referred to as VS1838, or 58038. This is a very interesting component, because it requires a 38KHz carrier frequency. If your remote control is failing to output this carrier frequency, this receiver will not recognize commands. I have a 99 Mitsubishi Eclipse. My window crank was getting stuck/super stiff at like 3 different positions when raising the window up. I sprayed wd40. While it helped it didn’t fix the issue. After 2 days the issue went away on its own. Not sure what happened but it’s almost impossible to buy window cranks new for the Eclipse. Junkyard/ebay are like the only options.

Ano po ba sira ng solar flood light namin. Charging nman siya na oon naman manually pero di umiilaw sa Gabi hindi rin kaya ng remote automatically sana po may makasagot. Thanks
hey 1 year ago my index finger were almost cutted of because of this. please never adjust your brakes with the wheel going. i needed to go to hospital to fix my finger.
be glad it only got u like that. It happend to me once and welp, finger almost got cutted off entirely, had to get it sewed. Watchout around rotary stuff! Even if they seem dull.
