The guy standing up playing the guitar, Alex Pennisi, has a past of sexually assaulting women & bragging about it after. Do not recommend supporting this person.
Is this perhaps the best bootleg out there? A testimony to the brilliance of these two players Edit: My reply keeps getting deleted XD. <reply> Can I add this on MusicBrainz? </reply>
I am grateful to hear that my little vid of this extraordinary duo still lives out there for all to take in. "Best bootleg out there?" -- hey, I'll take the compliment. Thank you.
@@sbpaulMOI think I found this through a friend's reference much earlier and I've been coming back to this every once in a while. I hope this can be released on a more permanent website or archival service than RU-vid. Perhaps we should make an entry on MusicBrainz
I'm sad to hear he has passed. Happy Trauma is essentially who taught me to play beginning guitar. 😔 Back in the late sixties, when my father got me my first guitar, he brought me a Happy Traum beginner guitar book. Later I figured out I didn't have to read sheet music to play guitar. But that was how I got started. Soon I found out that if I could just figure out what chords to use, I could play songs by ear using a finger-picking style. Finding that out by sheer providence changed my guitar work and musical future completely. 💚 May he rest in peace and music. 🎶 🎵
Good question, but sorry, I wasn't taking notes and can't remember which song this riff started from. Other Kingfish fans might recognize it or recall him launching into the crowd on similar numbers elsewhere. But thanks for watching.
