George Carver and Fados Americanos: "Jambalaya" 

This trio goes by Fados Americanos, specializing in the Portuguese song genre that swirls around love, loss, and grief. George Carver, of Austin, Texas, has a long association with Lisbon and the music style. Here, with Beau Bledsoe, on the Portuguese guitarra, and cellist Ezgi Karakus, two of the leading musical voices of the Kansas City-based cross-cultural musical outfit Ensemble Iberica.
