Finally!!! A great video without wasted breath or info. Hats off to you for a great review. I own this model. Difference is faux ivory grips on mine. Thanks
Curious to know the comparsion between this revolver and the Taurus 605 T.O.R.O. As far as, trigger pull, the red dot quality that comes with the Charter Arms vs Holosun for the Taurus (which does not come with it), overall feel and customer service between the 2 companies. If anyone has any opinions, I'D be happy to hear.
So I'll fill you in on some things you're not aware of and also show you how to make this Kahr more effective and easier to manage in keeping it shooting flatter and with less jump recoil. The real difference between Kahr CM models vs Kahr PM models is utmost because of "how" its made. The CMs are much less expensive because the parts in it are "cast injected" vs the PM models that are "milled" from a "solid" metal piece. This gives the gun a smoother base all round. More reliability. Longevity. Less maintenance. Less wear. Better feel. Etc. This is why they differ in price. And to get your Kahr CM or PM to shoot better and cleaner would be to get the receiver magnaported. Which will release the gas to the sides out of line of sight as not to blur or block lining up your sights. Thus reducing the jump recoil in keeping the gun shooter flatter and being significantly much more manageable. Would recommend even if you don't want to use the extended mag in order to keep it more comfortable and more secure, to instead put a mag cap with a one finger extension. This will not allow for more rounds in the mag. But it will give you a place to put that pinky finger that's otherwise dangling on nothing but air, keeping your piece more solid in your grip, thus giving you better aim, control, accuracy, etc. Here's a video below showing the difference between a regular stock Kahr and a magnaported Kahr. As you can see it's quite a difference. 😉👉 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YvIXeta7dS4.htmlsi=d7w45c5GS4nmYrKZ
One point: The ability to load using the tube loading system and unloading beats the side charging top off side gate because your thumb will thank you if you are shooting all day.
Boge, I have been collecting for 25 years, you have introduced me to so many great firearms that in the past I would have not considered. Purchasing on your recommendations, I believe your reviews are accurate and concise.
One sexy pistol. My thought that you mentioned: what happened to Cold Steel? Literally everything they sold was great. I still have their blowgun, haha. That thing is seriously powerful.
Hello...New Yorker who can't own a gun...what's the consensus among EDC guys who carry J frame 38s? 5 shot .38s or the 6th from a .32? Excuse my ignorance, but I'm learning and have no practical knowledge about this stuff. Love the snobby revolvers, though, if I could have one
Another most excellent video from Gunblast. Thank you Boge and yes, we all miss Jeff, always will, but you're carrying on with style and pride. Thank you..
It appears it is just like it's big 45acp brother it does not like 'pussycat' loads. Stay with heavy grain bullets to have good ejection and chambering without hiccups.
While I was on deployment.. I wanted to buy my dream 1911 with no spending limit. As a reward to myself for coming home. I went with the thunder ranch because its simplicity and quality. It’s going to get started this month or next month and I’m so excited to finally get my hands on it. It’s been a long wait. It gave me something to look forward to while I was in Iraq.
Absolutely appreciate this video tremendously! As a novice gun carrier , I was googling this gun and this video popped up! Taught me so much about this gun in a very short period of time. I couldn’t even find this level of info on the S&W website. The gun has been sitting in my cart 🛒 for sometime, but you sir have given me the confidence to pull the trigger to buy. Thank u!
Yessir. I had trouble believing it myself, so I double-checked it using a different digital gauge, and triple-checked it using a mechanical gauge. That's one of the reasons this pistol is now my EDC.
When I saw you had my Ruger New Vaquerro as your thumbnail, I decided to watch. When I saw your T-shirt I gave the video a like. When you said "plandemic" I decided to subscribe. Barely even a few seconds in. You better chill out now on it or I'm gonna have to donate.
I know birdshot works well, I have a 20 gauge and have decimated thick boards with as small as size 9 shot. I think alot lf self proclaimed gun experts contradict themselves sometime. They will promote jhps in a handgin for self defense in the claming a fmj will over penetrate. They want a load that dumps all its energy in the target. Same people often claim that anything other than slugs or buckshot in a home defense shotgun is ineffective and that small birdshot is worthless. But it is the bird shot that dumps all its energy in the target with the least chance of over penetration. When they make slight of bird shot they are downgrading the very thing that say they want the most. it's stupid
Damn, man you should know that it's perfectly fine to dry-fire a Ruger rimfire. Ruger limits the firing pin travel, so there's no problem. Says so right there in the instruction manual. Boge Quinn
I have one of these, for home defense. A very good pistol. I like the way the 10-round mag feels in my hand better than how the 15-round one does, so I picked up a couple more of the 10-rounders.
Guns now evolving faster than I can afford to keep up. I recently bought two carry pistols with optics cuts and now they're going to start making comps standard on most guns.
Jeff was and still is my favorite RU-vid presenter. I miss him and am thankful these videos were made to enjoy for years to come.I bought this very model SA and Jeff's review was spot on as always.
