A reasonably priced, reliable revolver made by Americans is a winning combo! I plan to buy a stainless Undercover this summer. My dad owned an Off-Duty with a matte black finish and it was a very nice and well made weapon - and that was over 30 years ago! I agree that Charter revolvers are unfairly disparaged.
A Charter Arms Undercover .38 was the very first gun I ever owned (in 1973). I currently have an older model from the 80's in my small collection, and the fit and finish is great! As you noted, the trigger pulls on these little revolvers are excellent! One thing too about Charter Arms is that the trigger reset is very quick, you can pull the trigger very fast on these guns! By the way, you are by far one of the best gun reviewers out there, keep up the great work!
I'd get and switch the optic to a 357 rifle if it weren't for the bottom battery, so discouraging. A dedicated optic should be secured down without having to undo to change a simple disc battery.
Curious to know the comparsion between this revolver and the Taurus 605 T.O.R.O. As far as, trigger pull, the red dot quality that comes with the Charter Arms vs Holosun for the Taurus (which does not come with it), overall feel and customer service between the 2 companies. If anyone has any opinions, I'D be happy to hear.
Boge, great job brother, you looking well. Ol’ Jeff would be proud of you for the job you’ve been doing. Wonderful review of the Mag Pug, timely as well. Love seeing charter arms reviews. Been a fan since 12yo me would get the catalogs and study them until the covers fell off. Never been a time I wasn’t a fan. Thanks Boge…!!
You helped me before please try to help me now. I have a early Ruger Security Six, Most people say they never made them. But it is a 2 1/2 barrel with fixed sights. I want to order grips but noone i can find makes them . Please check your friends and let me know. Than you Boge.
Enjoyed the video. I just purchased that exact gun. I would like to be able to swap out the red dot and rail with adjustable sights, can't find anyone that sells them. I have emailed Charter Arms and am waiting for a response. Would you happen to know anyone other that Charter Arms who would sell an aftermarket sight? Thank You.
