Well, would you look at that. Another joke of a Sonic hate agenda video full of missinformation, already false and rather obnoxius debunked points about Sonic's meta era being ''terrible'' (When it was the best era for Sonic both for games and TV Shows), bias but most agrigous of all, Mario meat riding. Sonic wasn't saved by the movie, that honor goes to Frontiers and besides the franchise was doing just fine even with the game's beiong rather mediocre after the peak that was Unleashed and Generations. How this video is possitivly received is buffiling to me but i guess personal bias and missinformation are better than the facts themselves because of ''mah feelings and delusions''.
@Dilpik
@Dilpik Месяц назад
You clearly didn’t finish or pay attention to this video if you think this is sonic hate of any kind. This video came from a place of love for the sonic franchise. As you mentioned sonic was putting out mediocre titles for a while which made a lot of fans including myself lose interest over time. Me and many other fans passion for the franchise were brought back after seeing the films. I hardly see how I was Mario meat riding, all I did was mention some of the highest rated and selling Mario games that released around the same time the sonic franchise was on a decline. I am a fan of both, I can appreciate both from an objective standpoint. I agree the films were not the only factor that helped revive the franchise but it was definitely the one that sonic back into the mainstream.

@@DilpikBruh. Ι did watched it from start to finish. Looks like someone clearly doesn't remember what he is posting and you are trying to defend your bad take by deflecting lol because this video isn't even a inch close to what you are describing being. Sonic's meta era wasn't his downfall neither was the internet right about his games being "terrible" as objectively the Meta era gave us some of the best games in the whole franchise. Sonic's true downfall will always be after Colors till Mania and you being the "passionate Sonic fan" you are weren't aware of this which is utterly baffling. About Mario, i mean you kinda did when you compared Mario's Metacritic scores to Sonic like many love to do, like that's always a great indication of quality. In conclusion, no. Pretending to be " passionate about Sonic and demanding better" when you are literally just a another hate agenda meat rider crapping on the franchise for the views and recognition since it's the easiest way to get some internet carma is the last thing this franchise needs, especially to non Sonic fans which once again thanks to videos like this, will be blindy pursued away from the great parts of this franchise but gotta keep the hate train going, i'am i right?

From a storytelling perspective, it most certainly was a masterpiece! I'm a pretty hardened dude. Not very emotional, but I deeply respect the oldest artform, storytelling, and I study it. This movie was beyond great. It didn't waste anything. It packed in the feels in such a genuine way. The character arcs were superb. They couldn't have ended it more perfectly. Out of all the Marvel movies, nothing created empathy, and did so while making the movie so fulfilling as GOTG3. I think anyone who wants to shit on this movie is not genuine, and is speaking from bias of some sort, or is not intellectually capable of seeing substance beyond style. This movie had tons of heart and soul. I get how modern day idiocracy pushes for flash and style in order to wow and hypnotize idiots into thinking what they are seeing is great. They are incapable of understanding depth, because they cannot percieve it.

I do think 2014 Gojira atomic fire should get credit for the weight it has. A perfect photorealistic interpretation, sacrificing nothing of its lore and concept has given Gojira a stable bedrock to go wild with different and unique atomic breath iterations.

This post contains spoilers.... I was disappointed with Godzilla Minus One. All the best Godzilla visual effects were in the Trailers and TV spots. Definitely a Bait and Switch by TOHO Productions. The terrifying Godzilla that everyone is talking about .. is only in the first 2/3rds of the film. After that, they replace him with a far less terrifying Godzilla - that no longer swims and takes out Naval war ships. For the big Godzilla take down to work, Godzilla needs to stay in one place .. and he kindly does that. Not just once, but three times. First to let the ships surround him to attach the gas canisters. Second, when they drag Godzilla back to the surface - he must have stayed put for at least 20-30 minutes or longer for all the tugs boats to get hooked up. And Third, he freezes mid atomic breath for Koichi to deliver the bomb plane into his mouth. How very nice of him! Now, I know that Godzilla wasn't the focus of the ending, but I was never worried about our heroes during the big climax. Koichi's ejection was telegraphed, you could see it coming an OCEAN away, and with Godzilla standing in the water (deep water too no less) just waiving his arms and screeching it just wasn't terrifying. The ending lacked ... any dynamic elements. Imagine watching STAR WARS and having the first Y-Wing fighters fly down the trench, shoot two proton torpedoes in to the minor exhaust port, and then have everyone fly off to watch the Death Star explode... The big GMO climax was like that.

The ejection seat said "Ejection Seat" on it in German, ejection seats are mentioned prior to the scene, there's a hushed conversation just off-screen with the mechanic about the seat and you've a protagonist who needs to fulfil his kamikaze mission but yet we care about him, his death would have been unfittingly bleak. What you're posting as a criticism was by no means an accident and it doesn't take away from the ending. If none of that had been signposted the ending would have been ridiculous: "Oh, he ejected?! Come on get real where did that come from...?"

its a good thing hollywood did not make this movie. Why? 1- they'll make the lead character a *female* kamakazi pilot( not a male) 2- they'll make it seem like her war plane is actually faulty so as to give the notion that She is no coward. 3- She'll be strong, black and Gay 4- The story will be about her sexuality 5- The lead scientist Oc will be female and main Oc's girlfriend. 6- It will be an all LGBTQ and feminist movement that takes down Gozilla while all the men stare in awe.

Hollywood couldn't make Godzilla Minus One. Hollywood wouldn't make THIS movie (with your changes) because it's absurd. Not for the reasons you listed, but because it illustrates how little you understand about a film like Minus One, and about film in general. It's also irrelevant to suggest that Hollywood would make THIS movie. THIS movie would not be Godzilla Minus One, so taking the opportunity to inject your little anti-gay, anti-women, anti-black bullet points really just says more about you as a person than it does how Hollywood conducts it's business. It speaks to a fear of white, straight men not being seen as the most pivotal and respected character, 100% of the time, in every film anymore and shows a resentment, seemingly towards everyone else, for even being represented in that role. Same song and dance we've seen over the past decade. Maybe learn a new song and dance? And, no, I don't buy your joke.

@user-vz2lc5kw9c 5 месяцев назад
@grayden4138 I think you miss the point of this commentary. It's called being ironic and maybe a little tongue-in-cheek. Lighten up. There is no doubt about Hollywood's latest tendency to insert / re-imagine roles around under-represented groups, in order to appeal to an audience chanting for inclusivity (Snow WHITE is now a brown skin Latina?). This isn't about the "fear of white, straight men". It is about leaving stories relevant to the culture, race and gender when appropriate. And developing original, accurate-to-the-situation stories that truly reflects and honors these under-represented groups. Purely for an example, they'd "re-imagine" Charles Dickens with Morgan Freeman as the titular character, in a bio pic. Rather than develop a movie about Alexandre Dumas. A giant literary figure who was Black, a contemporary of Dickens and wrote a little book called The Three Musketeers (among other great works). This is what this comment is about. This is Hollywood.

Hollywood couldn't make this movie because it really wouldn't have been plausible or morally correct to comment on the Japanese post-war condition unless you are Japanese yourself. It'd be like Japan making a movie about Vietnam from a US perspective.

I did heard in school before that the reason why japan didn't put ejection seat on kamikaze pilots is to prevent the pilots from being caught and investigated from the allied forces. They are called Kamikaze after all, pilots who are chosen to die with their plane.

idk maybe I have to rewatch it again. I really was disappointed in it. I think this is far and away the worst guardians movie. Yes I did absolutely love the idea of telling the story/backstory of Rocket as a film. But I believe this was a sloppy film during a good amount of time. Whether James Gunn wanted to give a big FU to Marvel and Disney or what but I didn't feel like I was watching a guardians movie. I couldn't careless what happened to Peter, Gamora (or however its spelled), Groot, Nebula kind of (best character arc so far.). Cosmo literally sounds like she is suppose to be a character in Roger Rabbit or the looney tunes movies with Brandon Frasier even though Cosmo is a male dog. Drax, Mantis still are a great combo of dialogue, Rocket I mean how could you not being cheering for Rocket. As for the villain I needed him gone in the first 5 mins he was on screen. Rather listen to a new baby cry for 24 hours than listen to that man scream in frustration for 2 mins. The actor played a fantastic role for a shit character.
