I remember watching this year's ago from a different youtube account, and I said thank you for your service, sir, and I got a reply saying you're welcome and I responded unfortunately I couldn't serve like I wanted too but I had many relatives that have and still are and the final response was not all heros have to serve I wanted to say thank for that it has inspired me to be a different kind of hero
@@MJFerguson-y8n - thank you for returning. Not all heroes serve as you mentioned. Glad to hear from you again. May you serve mightily to help change someone’s life!
Maybe you should put your phone down and worry about yourself! So unbelievably rude to post someone like this. You’ll be crying like a baby when someone does it to you dude 😢
@@ProtectiveDadPranks Wah Wah dude! You’re proving my point-look how triggered you are by my silly little comment. Go cry about it some more, tittybaby! 😢😢😢
Water doesn't hurt the engine. When you drive in the rain, water gets up in there. It does on EVERY car you have ever owned... you just didn't have a glass lid to see it... This is a solution to a problem that doesn't really exist. Hell, my C8 lives in the driveway, sits out every day in the weather... Couldn't care less, its a car...
@@SquireSCA - nowhere has anybody said that water hurts the engine. It’s about keeping it clean and not have to spend all the extra time cleaning up the engine bay. Apparently you don’t care what your engine looks like. So you go do you. Most of us Corvette owners actually care what our car looks like. Go find somewhere else to bitch and moan. This product is made for people who are looking for a solution.
@@ProtectiveDadPranks Because most Corvette owners spend more time sitting at a car show or polishing it in the garage with a diaper, than spending time out driving it. When you wash it with that spray foam and stuff, spray and blast out the engine bay along with the rest of the car, then blow it out. Easy, and it gets rid of the normal crap that gets up in there when you drive the car... When you get the car ceramic coating, toss them a few extra bucks to do the engine bay as well.
@@SquireSCA - and is their Corvette. So they can do whatever they like with it. Just because you think you’re better because you drive yours and they don’t. Doesn’t negate the fact of them appreciating the Corvette brand. Second, my car has full PPF, ceramic coating to include the engine bay. And I still need to use those blocks to make cleaning faster. Let me give you a epiphany moment. Since you think you are such the Corvette enthusiast. A real Corvette enthusiast doesn’t go after or say negative things about other Corvette owners That just makes you a fan boy. Know the difference.
@@ProtectiveDadPranks Actually, you got that backwards. Its the fanboy that won't allow any criticism of "their brand"... Its the literal defining characteristic. 🙂 So to use a wise man's words... Know the difference. ;-)
I just bought my C8 Corvette and wondered about the vents getting water on the engine but I don't think I will ever go through all that to wash my Vette. I think I would simply wash and blow the water off my engine when I am done. Engine looks great though.
My Race Deck has been down for 18 years. No issues. One of the things I really like is once I get bored by the pattern I change....three times now! Easy to clean and really makes the garage pop!
Well it goes like this, whenever you're on the "phub" do you wanna see a big hole and the pole have a whole lot of room and gaps or do you wanna see that hole filled all the way up 😂 This is just a thing to see and you ask why "because Alot of people just can't do it" cram these vettes boys😂😂
Just installed my AWE Touring exhaust BUT please tell me it will get louder as I break it in. AWE claims 700-1500 miles before it fully sets in. Did you find that with yours? I like the fact there is a conversion kit for the track version …I may go to that option if required. Outside of that I love the quality, fit and finish and the 4.5 black diamond tips are MINT!! Great video- thx!!!
Yes mine got louder about 500 miles in. I’ve ridden in a C8 with the conversion kit. There was too much drone for me. To be honest, it’s so loud now. During cold starts I plug my ears if I’m in the garage when it starts.
Thanks so much for the feedback and I was very much hoping you would tell me it will get louder and it will take at least 500 miles. Great that you have been in a car with the track version. My concern is likely there would be potentially drone and you’re right it does seem to have a different tone vs the touring. All in all AWE rocks!!!!!
Dang was hoping too see better up close the gaps. For example EOS offers this but I’m not a big fan of the gaps between each piece and along the outer edges. How are the gaps on this one ? You have any close ups? Also does it have any branding with their name on it ? Photos look like they do on website. Thanks 🙏🏽
@@ProtectiveDadPranks You know what I mean. The better Corvette, which was released in 2020. Yours is nice, don't get me wrong, but I prefer the new one. It is faster, handles better, newer tech, better lap times, far more aerodynamic. You can always sell your older one and buy a newer one. I would get 2023 or newer since they worked out some of the new edition bugs. Or, step way up and get a classier 2025 M3 Competition X drive. 523 hp.
@@ProtectiveDadPranks You were not clear and did not provide the year. The 2023 C8 is a mean machine. So how did you make your money- all RU-vid or born into a rich family?
