AWE always freaking killing it! Their exhausts are just awesome... You know what I'm really liking, though? That black freaking Texas plate! It goes so well with the car!
Watch several videos of popular YT’bers, but for some reason - yours pushed me over the edge. Order the AWE track for my girl “Sasha”. She’s a torch red with two toned red/blk interior 23” HTC Z51 that’s slated to be born on 7.12.23. Unfortunately the dealer I brought her from won’t install the exhaust or other aftermarket parts! I have to find a dealership close to home that will. Thanks for the content to hold me over until she arrives. Subbed 😎
Thank you so much for the great complement. I really appreciate the kind words. I love my AWE exhaust. It actually gets louder over time. I have about 500 miles on it now and I swear it is atleast 25% louder than when I first got it installed. The cold start is a beast! Please respond later and let me know what you think once you get it installed. Have a great week ahead!
Put mine on at 400 miles at the Chevy dealership, service writer said it was way better than any others they installed and the whole shop came over and had to see what all the awesome sound was about. Its loud enough lol it will draw enough attention and definitely turn a cops ear. Sounds exactly like mine even over the internet.
First! Great video and I see no obstruction with the ACS Inserts.👍🏽 I have to keep my NPP with a wife who is a nurse and works 12hr night shifts. That stealth mode is a must when creeping out mid morning or day and she’s asleep. 😆😆😆
Steve amazing sound ! So you still have your catalytic converters on ? Just inform you you guys are doing a great job with you videos. All the best ! Cos from London Ontario, Canada
Luv the AWE exhaust, especially made here in Good Ole Pennsylvania,USA! ,, But I’m waiting on the Header ,CAI , etc & some few other Goodies .especially if u take The TORCHIN , Red , To Stephen at LMR , late model racecraft . In Houston, just a thought 😅!!!! But it’s sounding Like a Corvette………
Hi Steve off topic can you give me any Leads . Just bought a C8 I want to replace the stock rotors with tow peace drilled & slotted but mine are not Z51. I’m looking for direct replacement but keeping stock brakes. Appreciate any leads. Cos
I’m in the same situation as you there’s only one company that does it and it’s called powerstop. I decided not to do it because they are not as good as the OEM rotors.
YO… Steve I have the AWE Touring BLK tips and did the black out heat shields Sounds SWEET 😎✌️ It’s either watch you guys or the Fart Dude which makes me cry laughing Be cool 😎
Hi Steve, I'm here in Frisco and I'm always working, finally will have weekends off this summer and want to go to these Corvette gathering in DFW area, my 1st question is where did you have the exhaust installed and how much? and 2nd question is it possible to let the local folks know when there's a Corvette gathering? In regards your AWE exhaust, it sounds awesome, I'm not sure between the Corsa, Borla or AWE. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
$650 install price at Corvette World Dallas. And our next event is scheduled and all our dates are on our Instagram Vette_Syndicate or on Park Up Front. Our last event this past weekend had 205 Corvettes show up and we expect the next one to top that! Hope to see you there. Spread the word!
@@ProtectiveDadPranks Thank you for the info., in regards the events, because of my work, I do not have Facebook, Instagram etc., is the Park Up Front a website?
Just installed my AWE Touring exhaust BUT please tell me it will get louder as I break it in. AWE claims 700-1500 miles before it fully sets in. Did you find that with yours? I like the fact there is a conversion kit for the track version …I may go to that option if required. Outside of that I love the quality, fit and finish and the 4.5 black diamond tips are MINT!! Great video- thx!!!
Yes mine got louder about 500 miles in. I’ve ridden in a C8 with the conversion kit. There was too much drone for me. To be honest, it’s so loud now. During cold starts I plug my ears if I’m in the garage when it starts.
Thanks so much for the feedback and I was very much hoping you would tell me it will get louder and it will take at least 500 miles. Great that you have been in a car with the track version. My concern is likely there would be potentially drone and you’re right it does seem to have a different tone vs the touring. All in all AWE rocks!!!!!
I went on AWE’s website and there’s 2 types of touring systems. The one like yours for $2995 and one for $2000. What’s the difference between the two systems?
My bad. Just noticed the system that’s around $2000 is the track system. What’s your opinion on the track system. Do you think that one could be too loud?
Honestly, I’ve heard both. And they’re pretty much the same. But I’d pay the extra money for the touring because believe me that drone will get to you after a while. I’ve had a car with drone before and it actually made me nauseous.
I’ve heard some don’t put it on. Mine is actually on. I just cut out the AWE logo and then installed it. I’m not big on permanent advertising for companies if I can help it. I just feel it takes away from the rear end with a big logo showing though.
What’s the price? I almost brought the GM option but found out it wasn’t a true borla attack - more like the borla touring Would have been nice to pick it up from the dealer with the “right exhaust” it should have came with! TPW late June so I’m researching options
@@vincew.6905 - yes. I really looked at doing a Borla but I just don’t like the exhaust tips for one. They look cheap and I also just think it sounds a little bit too robust for a Corvette. It doesn’t sound like a Corvette to me. When I took my car to the car show this past weekend I know kidding started it up at least 10 times cause people wanted to keep on hearing the exhaust. It sounds so good.
@@ProtectiveDadPranks I really want the Eventuri but I’m just not sure what kind of difference to expect to see and at it’s price point I would hope that I could get some better track times. I’ve only had my c8 for two months and I’ve been focused on interior upgrades but I just finished them today so I plan on starting performance. Right now, I just have the attack blue air filter (I actually did a 2.6 launch a few weeks ago. It’s on my IG). But I plan on upgrading the exhaust, tires, wheels, and COI asap.
Also random question are the tips interchangeable or are they welded to the resonator? Like if I had black tips today and wanted chrome tips later on is that something that could be done?
@@ProtectiveDadPranks You stated in the video that you couldn't start up the vehicle in the loudest setting with the active exhaust. I am simply letting you know that you can and how to do it.
@@anthonykiedis1765 - please let me know where that is stated because that was never said. The 2023 C8 Corvette always goes back to touring mode. It was an update. Even when you’ve been driving in My Mode.
@@ProtectiveDadPranks@2:46 you stated that when you drive in track mode and turn the car off it starts back up in touring mode every time. While that is true, if you turn the car off in my mode it will always start back up in my mode with the selected settings. That's the work around to get the car to start in the loudest setting with the active exhaust.
@@anthonykiedis1765 - that’s literally not true. You can even google it if you’d like. Not to mention. There is no LOUD sound when it comes to the stock exhaust. The stock exhaust is not loud at all. Go start a stock exhaust next to any after market exhaust and you’ll be humbled real quick. Stock sucks.
