After years of watching Beauty videos, I decided to be brave and go in front of the camera. Just a simple Caribbean girl with a passion and wealth of knowledge on all things makeup and recently with my big chop, natural hair related. My outspoken nature+beauty knowledge =Beauty Outspoken!
I replay your video at 2:19 & 4:16 minutes several times and still cannot understand or get the name of the first leaving conditioner. Neither did you hold the bottle up for us to properly see. I'm a bit disappointed, would have really love to know the name, since it's lemon grass.
Not coming on this platform to dismiss the great things about blue magic because I want to love it, especially because of the history of it being a staple in black women haircare But the concern came about for our long used staples because petroleum being labeled as carcinogenic How can we feel comfortable using these products with studies showing what we are putting in our hair can lead to cancer..
I am ecstatic that I found you. I am Tobagonian, for a long time,I couldn't find someone that I could relate to,when it came to my hair. I have been natural since 2001 and it has been a 'rollercoaster'. Thankyou I hope that we can talk further
If you mix one of the more gel/creamy primers with just a bit of the Becca/Mac, I've found it works perfect. You don't get those dry patches and you have a smooth surface that keeps the shine at bay.
Good explanations.. The thing I find is that a lot of foundations and primers are made for oily skin with a matte finish.. some of us do have combination to dry skin like me so matte just doesn't look or feel good.. I'm only getting into primers & trying to find out what the fascination is with them..
I agree wholeheartedly, my favorite greases are Bonner Brothers Super gro, their Olive Oil strengthener, Palmer’s Olive Oil therapy. My hair is no longer dry as the Atacama Desert, or sheds. 🐫 The older products work exceedingly well, are inexpensive, and last far longer than the higher end offerings of today. If you have dry/ bone dry hair, start conditioning with a cholesterol treatment every wash and you will notice a major difference in your hair’s behavior. (You’re welcome, lol 😝)
63 years old, MANY styles. I’ve NEVER STOPPED using hair grease! Dry scalp was always a problem, my beautician during my career days told me and I’ve done. Been natural about 15 years, hair long and pretty healthy. Blessings 🙏🏽
Try scurl activator and wetline gel underneath..3 product combo works wonders..scurl attracts moisture..grease traps moisture..gel keeps frizz away...just add leave in to start and you need nothing else
I just cut my hair, have always been natural, and now have a really low pixie cut. Looking for good products to try. My niece recommended this. That's why I'm here. Creams go well with my hair texture so willing to give it a try. Not sure about the texture as in 3, 4 a b c thing so can't say what my hair is. Suffice to say the barber told me Yuh know you're a dougla hair so when it wet it'll curl up so it will look shorter...😂
I think to start with that shampoo completely dried your hair out which was a bad base to start with... Then Blue Magic does a great twist out but the hair really needs to be wetter not dripping wet but wetter so the product can be absorbed... Applying the water to your hair 1st then the cream moisturizer and then the blue magic.
For summer time i use water aloe Vera and caster oil mix for my light leave in then i seal it off with blue magic grease and in winter time i just use a heavier moisturizer and seal with the grease same way and my hair loves it!
I'm from Kenya. I have extremely oily skin. I'm gonna try the rimmel stay matte primer. Thanks for this... Maybe you can post some few videos on how you keep your face clear... It's so smooth!!!
