Silicones ?? Blue Magic Grease?! 

Using grease with wet hair and a great leave in does wonders. I’m telling you guys. Try out grease for awhile. It keeps my hair moisturized for days.

I like that you empathize with younger viewers or those with a tighter budget. A lot of these natural hair bloggers forget that young girls(and boys) and a good amount don't have money to be wasting on these pricey hair products. One of the reasons people stopped using relaxers is to stop wasting money from salons but sometimes I feel that simplicity has been forgotten...

I going to say the truth most naturals don't want to wash their hair that's why they don't want to use grease they want to do Cowashing which isn't getting the hair clean I use hair grease so I wash it out every two weeks with Shea moisture jbco shampoo which is a clarifying shampoo and condition afterwards

I don't know why we tend to stay away from grease (that is what our mothers used when we were children). I have been using grease (Pine Tar Super Gro Conditioner) since April of this year and I love what it does to my hair. I apply it to my scalp after in apply my leave-in conditioner while it is still damp. It keeps my scalp moisturized and I realize that my hair has grown a lot. Great review.

You should probably try those products again on soaking wet hair. I typically start on wet hair, use a moisturizer then seal with grease i.e, blue magic . Bomb twist out every time

63 years old, MANY styles. I’ve NEVER STOPPED using hair grease! Dry scalp was always a problem, my beautician during my career days told me and I’ve done. Been natural about 15 years, hair long and pretty healthy. Blessings 🙏🏽

Agree with u that the hollywood beauty didnt provide enough moisture for the gease to be effective.when i use it i moisturize with water and about 3 other leave-ins/moisturizers then use a grease.i dont have to use anymore products for a entire week! 😙grease👌🆗❤

I use blue magic and my twists out be bomb...and they last for 4 or 5 days ....i dont grease my scalp with it tho

Hey Trini....just bounce up your vid....never stopped using Blue Magic with other creams and oils....no complaints...

For my hair, silicones and heavy products dry it out, so I avoid them; I rely on prepoo oils and suave essentials conditioner for slip. But grease or petrolatum works well for me if applied sparingly. I have low porosity hair so it doesn't accept a whole lot of product. I cannot layer products for moisture. I can only use a diluted leave in (kinky curly knot today) and maybe an oil. I use a bit of coconut oil grease to seal the ends of my twists and that's it. Hair stays moisturized, defined until wash day. I seem to get all the moisture I need during the washing and deep conditioning process. My leave- in gives me extra slip and just kind of seals me off. My hair is also easier to detangle using minimal products.

@Beauty Outspoken I think it was Olive Creme hairdress that made your hair dry. My mother had to add more oils into the product to keep our hair moisturize.

you can also add some oil to your conditioners

I think to start with that shampoo completely dried your hair out which was a bad base to start with... Then Blue Magic does a great twist out but the hair really needs to be wetter not dripping wet but wetter so the product can be absorbed... Applying the water to your hair 1st then the cream moisturizer and then the blue magic.

Since then did you try grease with another leave in? I use mine with a water based leave in and the moisture is ridiculous

The curling pudding made your hair dry you didn't have to use it with the grease water and grease go a long way

I think she cheated herself with water that opens our pours. It keeps our hair open to receiving what is in a product. She needed to do as much of it in the setting of her hair. And grease is more for luster although it has oil. It looks more then what is expected in an oil more truest to its makeup. But for what she did it wasn't bad at all, not that I'm a twist out queen. But I realize that most times my hair is dry, is when I didn't open my pours enough for what I am putting on my hair or I don't put enough of condition and or oils on my hair. Sometimes it nice to just rinse the hair with a warm water oil mix.
