It literally is the only game I actually want to spend money on but since its so new there isn't alot I can actually spend on. And I mean cosmetic wise not like buy to win dlcs
I enjoyed the video but I gave you an extra dislike because my man, I know it's semantics but please don't say "these developers" or "AAA developers" when it comes to the nickle and diming of gamers with bullshit microtrqnsactions. I'm pretty sure it's the publishers and overall execs who are responsible for that. Most developers from what I can tell are just contracters making a game to make a game. I don't think many of them relish making battlepass or microtransaction features and ui when they have to. And I say I didliked it only to say I really hope in the future you use your words more wisely. I just think when you point the fingers at the developers that that's mostly destructive and can negatively effect one of the most fucked peoples to work for a corporation, game developers. They don't need more shit. The publizhers and execs deserve the blame and I think it's important to make that clear
Another common complaint I saw on steam was that the crafting was too barebones. And I'm like... Bitch, I'M GLAD. I can just buy the armor and upgrade and go back to action. They have a gameplay loop in mind and they are sticking to it.
Ive played a lot, and I mean a LOT of roguelikes. My hot take is... hades just isnt that good as a game, people just got sucked into its AAA voice acting, music and art, but the fundamental gameplay is shallow and repetitive. Same thing kind of killed cult of the lamb for me, along side how badly the two aspects of cult blended together, basically being a sub par base builder and a sub par dungeon crawler. So im not sure if im hype for this game. Hades and Cult were both, imo, kind of... boring, after really diving into them. Especially when other options like say, dead cells, exist. Ill give it a shot though since I love klei and their games.
Yea the klei devs are huge funs of cult of the lamb and you can see it with this game its like they combined the forge from dont starve with cult of the lamb
In my opinion, the biggest "issue" with Payday 3 is, why even bother with it over Payday 2? Payday 2 has had over a decade worth of content, fixes, and patches. Any "new" feature or mechanic included in Payday 3 could've just been added to Payday 2 and Starbreeze wouldn't have had this issue. Plain and simple, Payday 3 didn't need to even happen.
i dont see why people disagree with the video and giving it a dislike. the points here are totally valid. also when you mentioned hero shooters you didn't mentioned valorant and apex legends. although they are not strictly hero shooters but they have the mechanics of that. gigantic with a pricetag will have a very difficult time to compete against all these free to play titles.
Motiga and its developers did not deserve the terrible treatment they received from their investors (who in the end only hindered the development of the game) and from OW fans (who denigrated the game, calling it a "poor man's copy of Overwatch", I even remember that the developers at Gigantic were beset by a controversy over the design of the HK-206, as people said it was a copy of Bastion, even though the HK-206 had been shown since 2013)
i have some experience with payday 2 mainly crimewave edition on ps4 years ago never played the payday the heist or the payday crime war mobile game and speaking of just cause i have played just cause 2 only XD and i liked payday 2 and not angry or upset but a little bummed out or disappointed of payday 3 having a always online connection i am hoping that payday 3 devs turn the game around and make the game better just what i heard from on this video and i have heard of live service games getting canceled and people losing they jobs cause of layoffs and game studios or companies sizing down some a while ago and also love this content keep it up @Acejokes :)
aight, you said your opinion, here's mine: you put in a miniscule amount of research, barely any gameplay, you are factually wrong in many regards, so kindly shut your cakehole. It's still a well designed game, with far better concepts than many of its counterparts, and that's what's important, of course there's room for polish and much more content, but it is a good thing. BTW, nobody cares what you think. Literally nobody.
To be fair, this game isn't revived for new players, it's for the fans. I think Gearbox won't purchase its rights if they didn't see its potential. I haven't purchased the game yet, it's on top of my list to buy, but if you said it didn't changed much then I think it is a good thing! This game didn't need to change! It needs a Single Player game mode though, the queue has been an issue the first time they launch too
