Here in The Messy Studio I'll talk about woodturning, penturning and other woodworking topics. I'll show how I turned various protects. I'll also share quick tips and techniques that I have found useful over the years. I'll also present tool reviews as often as possible.
Great demo. Thank you. You probably already knew this but I thought I would mention it for those who did not think of it. Dry silicone is one of the best lubricants for lubricating the deck for keeping fine sawdust from gumming up the sliding of the head stock, tool rest and tail stock. Oil and grease will collect that fine stuff and make it hard to have smooth movement.
Top notch job Billy , its a realistic looking apple and the caterpillar is the icing on the cake or should I say the worm on the apple Cheers mate and take care, Bram
Great job Billy. The red eventually came around. I wonder if a coat of black applied first and then sanded back may have helped. Looks great as it is though. Thanks for sharing. Have a great trip.
Use to get out with a letter from work. Then when that stopped I got called once and the jury was picked before they got to me. I actually was looking forward to it.
