I’ve got something similar but slightly larger from Exo terra for my Porcellio hoffmanseggi. Love watching them in it! Planning to put all my isopods in similar tanks in the future. I like that the ones you got are black with clear sides, the one I’ve got is dark green.
Great video Jerimie. In our experience using enclosures similar to this in the past is that they require a substantial amount of modification in order for them to be suitable for a lot of inverts, especially when it comes to holding humidity. I would be very careful housing merulanella species in there, as you mentioned they are great climbers and the juveniles will easily slip through the gaps in the lid. Keep up the good work dude. 🖤
Great meeting you dude, glad you enjoyed the glasgow show, one of my faves of the year. I'm still rehousing some of my additions. I went super crazy this year but had some spicy pick ups.
My fave planned pick up was the harpactira cafreriana slings. My fave unplanned pick up was the two young ceratogyrus brachycephalus females from the spidershop. But happy with all my purchases.

Wow, nice selection good value. Been thinking of getting some emerald roaches they look cool. That centipedes a stunner, also been toying with the idea of getting a pede but not sure…
Come on guys you know any tarantula will walk straight out of them. We have small juvi Ts that open boxes amd lockimg enclosures you kow a little magnet is never gona stop pushing the drop down door open which will then snap straight off amd goodbye tarantula. There is a lot better options out there the magnets are dangerous and risk snappung a leg. Id be avoiding these at all costs for Ts. Maybe be usable for jumpers but with magnets would still keep well clear. See other companies releasing glued units with swivel locks and no magnets much better and hinged so no drop down doors
Thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback on these enclosures. Yes I know of valorous enclosures that use weak magnets that wouldn’t be suitable for tarantulas. I’ve used various styles of enclosures and have to say these magnets are of a much better quality. As for your comment in regards to “risk” to a tarantula. It’s down personally to the keeper, not once in the 5 years I’ve been keeping have I ever had a spider catch their leg in a magnetic door because I take my time and don’t get panicked if a t were to bolt I am 100% honest when I review stuff on my channel and I will say it over and over that these enclosures are genuinely some of the best quality on the market
I’ve never had a problem with a spider or any invert having a leg caught in a magnetic closing enclosure. Take your time and weigh up your animals behaviour before closing the door. I think these look great and will definitely be trying them out ☺️

@JamesMcevoy, did you create youtube just to troll as I noticed you only created an account 15 hours ago, the magnets used on the enclosures require a 1kg force against to push it open, I also can confirm I've never had a spider trapped in a door with magnetised enclosures, I'm vigilant and if a spider bolts my reaction isn't to shut that door, it's to grab a catch cup ready, which I always have next to me prepared for any spider. I also have none magnetised enclosures and the locking mechanisms are snapped so if that's snapped with me closing it, I imagine one of my tarantulas could push that one open Arachnoshack enclosures are built to last and time and effort has been taken to put into these with a 2 year delay so they could be tried and tested before releasing on the market
