Hey guys!!
In today’s video I’ll be showcasing my pick ups from the absolutely amazing Mildenhall Halloween Invert Show. A first time running show hosted by Amazing reptiles, it was an absolutely fantastic weekend trading and visiting Ely Exotics the day after! Definitely one of my favourite shows of the year, both trading and general enjoyment! If you missed it this year I definitely recommend trying to make it next year! The pickups I got were surprising to say the least but stunning just as much! Be sure to watch till the end to check out one of the most unique species I’ve ever owned! Don’t forget to like comment and subscribe for future content if you enjoyed todays video 😊

I grabbed a couple of those £2 moss packs too, only used sphagnum to date so looking forward to introducing a bit more colour. Lovely to see you as always at a show, such a great reaction to your costume by Victoria!

Ever since using other mosses I’ve stopped using sphagnum. Just love the look of these other types so much more. Always a pleasure to catch up with both you and Victoria! So glad she enjoyed the costume haha.

Wow you got so much stuff , as usual 😂.It was great to finally meet you and to pick up my first exotic true spiders . Thanks for the cracking deal on those btw .I got two hc and two hm , what does hm stand for btw ? Anyway they are all doing well and fun to watch them barrel roll fruit flies . My favourite of your pick ups were the fire snails . If you get captive bred ones into the hobby cheaper we would be interested . They looked very Halloween appropriate as well. Nice one 👍

Haha can never go to a show and not get a bunch 🤣. Was lovely to chat to you and hope you and the family had a good day at the show. Hm is hogna maderiana and Hc is Hogna carolinensis. The fire snails are amazing. Both have fed in my care so far so hopefully can get em breeding!

The purple/green plant is a Hemigraphis aka Purple Waffle. Love these plants, used to be really popular in the 90's. Very easy to care for, they like partial shade best. Can tolerate both drought and flooding but not for extended periods - I joke with my SIL they are dramatic AF the way they melt if left fully submerged in aquariums for too long. So yeah it will do much better as a terrarium or house plant (i've actually seen them in hanging baskets) in moist soil, an will top out about 8 inches so a nice size in a display but will you will need to pinch out the top shoots so it doesn't get leggy. I've had as both, found they benefitted from soaking about once a month when I kept them as house plants though.
