Why pay $400 for a rapid car charger where you can run your own 10 gage (ground and hot) directly from your battery to a Andersen Power Pole terminal in your car or van, fuse both wires at both ends. You can also add a key-on relay to prevent draining the start battery. Remember the first 20 minutes after the start, your alternator is recharging your start battery so do not expect optimal output from a cars charging system. As a HAM Radio user I need 13.8V at 60 amps to run my rigs so the above is how many of us run our power. With modern cars and vans you may need to calculate what your vehicle can spare as starving the computer can destroy or confuse your electronically controlled vehicle. I chose to use completely separated solar charging for my HAM radios to protect my trucks ECM and computer. As a bonus I can boost my start battery with my deep-cycle battery system (hot(+) to hot and negative (deep-cycle) to ground (vehicle) using booster cables. PS. You may have been interchanging Wh and KWh at one point!!
I have Echoflow and Bluetti. I prefer the Echoflow overs Bluetti, the Bluetti will shutdown if idle too long and the performance from running my refrigerator is much longer from Echoflow
Those power stations with a high ampere (30A 12v) output can be integrated into a vans power system. The van could have its accessories and lighting wiring going back to a fuse panel and it all to be powered by the power station :)
LMFAO, so TRUE!! These kids are where I don't want them to be when I am going out into interesting journeys during the weekday mornings :( I tripped and accidently bought cookies 😂😂 I love this :)
for the cup noodles, you're supposed to leave the cover partially on for when you pour the hot water in, you can seal it for 3 minutes for a more efficient cook on the noodles. Then eat :)
One time I went to shower at the gym at planet fitness, I open the curtain and feces filled the entire shower. Im talking poop on the walls, on the curtain. Just everywhere. I said yeah... and slowly closed the curtain
Go to a parking garage if you are in Vegas- most do not charge and depending upon where you locate your car in it it will not be that hot at all. Obviously do not park on the top under the sun.
Great video young lady keep doing you and damn all the haters. Excuse my language but I get tired of these trolls trying to disrupt a good thing. Have a great day and stay safe out there 😊❤new sub here
Hi! Enjoyed your video, first time watching your channel. I would like to add a couple of things that I have learned when it comes to power banks. All of mine are first generation so I made mistakes but learned as I made purchases. One of the reasons that numbers don't jive with capacity of the power banks is that the efficiency varies from one to another. The most important thing I would like to mention is that for me, I would never buy an expansion battery for the following reason. A few months ago I had to send 3 ecoflow units back for repairs after 3 years of using them. It took 3 weeks to get them replaced and had I had expansion batteries for them they would have been totally useless as I did not have the main power station. Instead I recommend that you buy 12V or 24V or 48V lithium batteries. They are very cheap to purchase and with a cable adapter from Amazon you can connect the lithium batteries to your power bank using the solar panel input port and it will charge your power bank and expand its capacity by 1280 watt hours on a 12V battery and doubles to a 24V and so on for a 48V giving your over 5kwh. You can literally buy 2 12V LifeP04 batteries for the price of one ecoflow, jackery or other brand expansion battery. Furthermore, if your power bank needs to be repaired you can still use the 12V batteries by using an appropriate sized pure sine wave inverter to run your refrigerator should it ever becomes necessary. Also unlike expansion batteries for the particular brand models they can be charged by themselves with a battery charger or solar panels if you have a solar charger, the expansion batteries requires the main power bank to charge it because you can not charge them by themselves. Final thing. Ecoflow's alternator charger is great but limited to Ecoflow only. Pecron came out with an alternator charge that charges at 500 watts an hour and can be used with any brand of power bank. Great job on your video.
The limitation of the Ecoflow 800W (alternator) charger (and any alternatives suggested below) is that 800W is 60A from the alternator. This is only practical if the vehicle is actually running and has an adequate alternator in the first place. (The lead acid battery in a car typically has about 600Wh of usable energy. That won't even charge a 1024Wh system once.) If one is going to do it, $439 is probably a reasonable price to avoid damaging the factory alternator, which would probably cost more than $439 to replace (at the dealer). I would not risk the DIY alternatives suggested below.
Elon Musk was explaining lithium batteries and he said they are like a parking lot. When the parking lot is empty it is very easy to park. Same thing with charging when the battery is low the atoms find a place to go fast. When the parking lot is full, they have to drive around for a while to find a parking spot, and that's what the atoms are doing inside of the battery. That's why it takes longer from 85% to 100%
Your stats on charging ecoflow is off 1.3 hours is only 78 minutes, which would be a shorter time than the 80 minutes for fast charge. Love this review though
