I'm a recent college grad prepping to start medical school this year while reading a bunch of books and trying to live a healthy lifestyle! Follow for BookTube content, medical school updates, and a girl trying to eat right and exercise more while also baking some cookies!
No we don't need more tourists. Our country is really ugly , hot and has nothing to offer. Our appartment rents have gone up so high because of you. Go somewhere else please , begging you
So excited for you to read Powerless! It was probably my favorite book of 2023 (I say probably because I don’t think I cool ever choose between Powerless and Magnolia Parks 😅)
Just bite the bullet and read City of Bones. If you don’t like it and want to know what happens I will give you the full run down. P. S. City of Bones has a movie and tv show adaptation. 😅
I love your videos. I am helping instructors with dual enrollment and would like to know what you advise to make courses engaging for students to the point that they look forward to logging on. I am sorry you had to "teach yourself" in some cases. IMHO, that should not be the case, especially since it is clear that you are a highly motivated student. Thanks for any comments that can help me help instructors make the best classes possible:)
Thank you for watching! It is wonderful that you are helping dual enrollment instructors. Personally, I feel engaged in a class when the professor gives real-world examples of the ideas we are learning. Sharing a personal story or a funny example helps solidify the information I’m learning while also keeping me engaged in the material. Also, when questions are given through Top Hat or a similar resource during the lesson, I am more engaged because I want to do well on the questions. Another tip is pretty superficial, but making a powerpoint clear and concise with simplified bullet points is much less distracting than multiple images and paragraphs on a powerpoint. I hope these tips are helpful!
Great recommendations! ALSO- I love Jane The Virgin! once you finish the series, there is a book you can read! I won't spoil anything though- great video!
You are a blessing to this homeschool Mom who is researching all of this right now for my girls. Thank you sweet one for your words of wisdom from the Lord.
I’m so happy you read The Quit List! Katie Bailey is one of my absolute favorite authors and I’ve loved every single one of the books I’ve read by her (Season’s Schemings is my favorite though :)
I felt the same way about In Five Years.. I read it a long time ago and don’t really remember it at all but just remember thinking I was gonna love it but being really disappointed
I enjoyed Six of Crows but HATED Crooked Kingdom 😂. SoC is definitely not a book I’d recommend listening to on audiobook, though. I would have been so confused!
I feel like the six of crows duology is actually heavily about the found family. If I remember correctly it’s even more prevalent in crooked kingdom. Crooked kingdom is also far better of a book in my opinion. It’s definitely an overhyped series, but I did enjoy it and would recommend it to most people.
Firefly Lane was the first Kristin Hannah book I finished - the writing is very quick moving & engaging in my opinion. I didn’t love the story but enjoyed the reading experience bc of the way it was written - if that makes sense 😄
@@LydiaDeLayRU-vid I feel like it was quick moving but took time to process. Idk if that makes sense lol but it was a lot to think through but not slow. A lot happens but it takes time to go through the journey I guess is what I’m saying 😅
These silent woods is also emotional and kind of slow for a thriller, but I loved it. I found out the author is a Christian after I finished it, and some of the themes made so much sense afterwards.
I love connecting book recommendations to tvs/movies! Great video, I love all your recommendation videos! "The Measure" sounds really interesting, I plan on checking it out
