Have owned the. 32-20 , 25-20, and .218 Bee in stevens , Remington, Browning as well as winchester rifles never got my hands on a Marlin though ! All were great light recoiling and low report accept the. 218 Bee . I love these older small game cartridges! Have taken turkey fox coyotes hogs and whitetail deer at closer range and never had any problems with them. Shot placement and patience. Keep within 150yds and you will be surprised how versatile they are. God bless and best wishes on your future hunting success. P.S. they are great for young hunters starting with the basic principles of ethical hunting and knowing your limitations and your equipment!
So i am buying one of these Sunday from a friend or i might. But what kind of ammo can i buy for it in california? Do sell ammo that can be shot out of it at ranges?
My grate uncle just across tbe fl/ga ( fowls town ga) line used a old winchester in it . He keep it on his mule harness and when tgey change over to a 8n had a mount made for it. He shot out the barrel. Turkey, deer , fox rabbits in the head like you said gators and snapping turtles. Snakes. Not so much on tge hogs back then it was open range most of tge hogs were marked. Even 1 bear. He said it was good on every thing back then.
Hello I know it has been some time since the making of this video, but I am very interested in this knife. Wondering how it has held up for you over the years?
There is so little content online about training a mutt/shelter dog to hunt! Please upload a video on your training process! I'm interested in doing the same.
You don't need blistering fps from an air rifle like this, it's better to have an easy to cock rifle with a smooth shot cycle and accuracy. The Diana 24 is similar to the Weihrauch HW30 in that regard.
Thanks, a very good video. We need more of this type of thing today. I came to this video because I recently found a hammerless Hopkins & Allen single 12ga at an estate sale. It needs work but I'm sure it will shoot again. It evidently hung on an old timers wall till he passed. No one in the family knew the story behind it.
3:09 Yeah don't you love all the jokers that say stuff like "well you need a belted magnum bare minimum for whitetail, anything else is just wounding the animal, son"
The most important thing I take out into the hills with me is my daughter. The golden handle belt axe looks like my cup of coffee. I've carried a tomahawk from time to time but the wide eye tends to get in the way of some tasks. I really like how slim the belt axes look. I'm going to have to wrestle one down. Extra points for having a poll.
I have just found this video five years down the line. The Vulcan do you still possess this gun? They do respond to tuning and become a far more pleasant shooting experience, Not really possible to get the power levels up too high, they seem to max out about 14.5 FTP's. But are worthy little guns and polishing the trigger and upgrading the internals will pay dividends.
I've heard of the "War of Northern Aggression" but never the "War of Northern Hostility". Was the later fought before the former?? I've also heard of the Civil War being labeled the "War of The Rebellion." Actually seen this reference on many a monument.
I have one. Last patent date on the barrel is 1905. Reckon it's a tad over a century old. But man is it smooth and accurate. I killed a deer with it one year. It has quite a bark. But nobody makes ammo any more. I have about 2 boxes.
