I'd like to contact John. I knew a member of a Yianni family in Tollington Road, Holloway, which moved to the Shetlands around 1970. I became a Christian in 1971 and as a consequence, being a new, fervent split up with her. Long story but would love to contact her or know about her.
It’s an award winning fish and chip shop and there are still comments from miserable bastards focussed on the portion size of the chips. It says so much about them that they’re concerned with the quantity of the chips rather than your attention to detail on fresh produce and the level of detail achieved on preparation and presentation.
@ SpockBorg5 , i don't know if they offer peas, i would have to check their menu, but i'm Irish & if they do offer peas, you can bet the will be mushy/smashed my friend
@@markylon I am sorry if my comment offended you. I didn't mean to malign Scotland. Actually, I spent 15 months in England while serving with the U.S. Air Force from 1966-1967. I was stationed at RAF Chicksands near Bedford. Those were very happy days. The countryside was very reminiscent of my home in Wisconsin, USA. I never traveled to Scotland but, I am sure that it's a lovely country. I just like more trees on the landscape. I wish you well and have a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
I just came across this , I ate in frankies several times throughout 2013/2014, have to agree the meals were delicious, all cooked to order, whilst it appears you don't get many chips, I was full every time I ate there!!
They should have a dish called The Braveheart which consists of 10 pieces of those fish. If you finish the plate you get a free t shirt and your name on the wall.
