Dear Sir, I’ve noticed this model can be packed in two different boxes. The box/tin that you have & also a plain black box with silver G-Shock text. Do you know why?
That’s a good question, not sure. I think the boxes really only depend on the distributor and what they’re buying wholesale. The watches probably ship separately in smaller packaging.
Part of what makes Casio the best is value. The best ones are the 5600E, 5610 solar, and 6900 solar. If you go drop 275+ bucks on the top G shocks you are essentially detracting from the true greatness of the Casio G shock. A no nonsense, nearly indestructible watch that gives you all you need and nothing you don’t at a great price. It is the perfect minimalist watch to wear every single day in all conditions. These watches are wasted on stupid little fanboy collectors
I see that perspective but there’s a market for everything I guess. Some like g shocks but want something more premium feeling. Perhaps they only wear a watch on occasion and really have a penchant for g shocks as their special watch.
Hello, I have feedback for this video. I would like to see more of the watch than you. I came to watch this video to see the watch. I mean you can have yourselves in the video but more of the wtch would be better.
I just bought ,my first rolex. The full gold bluessy. Got it for under retail its a 2024 41 mm. I can get this watch also. For the price of 22k otd it is an oyster braclett may of 2024.Its double retail price.
I have just bought a deepsea not new 2012 but I love it, all of Rolex expertise in one watch, I have a panerai also and love them both, plus cheaper than a sub
The whole video you’re implying, that basically rolex doesn’t know what they’re doing. They didn’t do it right. The company that profits something like 1 billion dollars, the most sought after hard to get, top of the luxury watch segment, but the whole video you’re accusing them they don’t know what they’re doing. It’s pretty amazing really. Apparently you need to be the next CEO of Rolex.
I don’t understand why IWC (and also Omega for that matter) randomly throw each variation at on their website. This makes the redundancy even more visible.
I love the size and weight of mine. It's the most beautiful watch I have ever worn. I'll be honest, I haven't had a lot of luxury pieces (also own a Planet Ocean and Speedmaster Moonphase). Those are two large watches in itself! I'm 6'2", 248lbs with 7.25" wrists and daily my Deepsea 24/7. Only take it off for the shower in case it can't handle those splashes. lol JK. Just don't want soap to build up on the watch and you don't want to wash your wrist!
I’ve worn a G-Shock GW9400-1 Rangeman for 8 years now. Gift to myself when I promoted for Firefighter to Rescue Technician. It has functioned flawlessly during that time. Last year the band tore and I replaced the band and outside bezel. To my surprise the replacement bezel and band were matte black. I had polished my watch to a fine gloss due to years of wear. 😊
@@StandardTime 1 GMT @ 42mm, 2 GMT @ 40mm, and 2 non GMT @ 40mm. Well they have swiss ETA/Selita movement they are robust and reliable. The ceramic bezel is nice. The only downside is the screw of their bracelet can easily get spoiled, they are not hardened screw. For now i seldom used since i have 30+ watches that i regularly used.
With so many brands (omega) just building hacks of Rolex designs, it’s nice to see something outside the box. The story/ history w/ the Rolex partnership is also interesting.
There is no stainless steel GMT model which is better than the iconic Rolex Hulk. No not because it is iconic or discontinued. Because it is one of the most beautiful Rolex ever produced.
RM is no rich man's Hublot. They have some real horological chops. That being said I would never buy one no matter how rich i get or how cheap they become.
I own a Rolex GMT Master II - the fact that I can’t buy a Submariner is outrageous and irritating - you just can’t get one. So, I am adding several Steinharts to my collection because they are 80% of my GMT at 10 times less and oh yeah, I can actually buy one. As the mechanical watch industry constricts, one day Rolex will beg us to buy their watches - snobbery at the highest level (but I still love my GMT and one day will have a Sub) but by that time I will probably have 5 or 6 Steinharts. I feel much smarter wearing my Steinhart than I do wearing my GMT - I feel Steinhart cares about its customers. My next Steinhart will be the Ocean One Titanium 500 which is more of an in-house design…
It's 2024 and I've just started looking for this watch recently because I'm feeling the exactly same way as you explained in the beginning of this video.
16,000 plus for a Rolex that’s only worth about 3-5,000 Vs this 800 dollar Steinhart that’s just as good?? No contest there. Fuck Rolex and their disgustingly high mark ups.
I could easily wear the IWC Pilots between 40-44's. Then I ran into Laco, Muhle Glashutte and Stowa. Two just mentioned are original manufactures (brand) of the Nazi Flieger watches and way more affordable price. Especially if you don't care too much about the decorated movement. Your watch is nice and you are fortunate to own it!!
In 2004 I bought a Rolex submariner for 4k and I sold it for 16k a month ago. I also just bought 3 more submariners for 10k each. Ready for prices to go up and make some cash
