Hello Yan, amazing video! do you have any recommendations about how to stay for more than a year? I saw some articles and know that anyone can stay up to 270 days but what if I want to stay more? is getting the other tyoe of visa difficult? Thanks in advance
Hello ma'am, can I interview you po about sri lanka? We are studying po about cultures of different countries and I am assigned to sri lanka. These are the questions po. 1. What are their culture in sri lanka? 2. How it differs from us Filipinos? 3. How did you adopt? 4. How do you do business with them? Hope you can help me, Thank you so much po🥰
Hi Kathlene! Sure! It’s my pleasure 😊 kindly tell me the name of your school and where you are from.😊 1. Sri Lankan culture - it is diverse. The food is authentic on its own - different from indian food. They love to play cricket. They have 4 major religions - buddhism, hinduism, christianity and islam. They have adopted much from the English culture especially the way they talk in english.😊 they have close family ties and they are very friendly. 2. It differs from our culture in many ways. For one, they are more conservative and formal in their choice of clothes. Women usually wear long skirts and many men wear long sleeves and or polo on a daily basis. Even in the way they act, they are more conservative, too. 3. It was easy to adopt because they are friendly and respectful. And as a nature lover, the country’s raw beauty made me feel at home right away! The only thing was the food. Almost all dishes are spicy in Sri Lanka and it’s not mild at all! 🌶️🥵😅 4. Sri Lankans are frank. There’s no reading between the lines as they are straight-forward. They are kind and very considerate too. So i think it is easy to get along with most of them.😊 Hope that helps! God bless you! 😊

Hello Paul! I am so glad to see your comment for I am a seventh-day adventist myself.😊 there are many churches across the country! But if you are looking for an international (english) church, there are 2 in Colombo.😊 Bethel SDA church and Shiloh SDA church. Please look them up.
