These series of Ansem fights are murder for trophy hunters! Don't change equipment and no continues: if you die, back to the save point. I remember KH is from the PS2 days but Damn... Thank You for guides though, really need it.
Literally the WORST designed boss in the entire game. It's slow as fuck, the controls are GARBAGE, and it feels straight up unfair at times when playing on Proud.
Small thing, with high deflection keyblades you can spam counter attacks during the laser dance. Lotta goo damage but not really safe since he can still hit.
Hi! I've included the link to the text guide in the video description. I'll leave it here in case you need it: www.khguides.com/kh/combat/bosses/ice-titan If you're referring to a particular section of the website that is missing a link, shoot me an email at info@khguides.com - thanks!
I don’t know if this is a mechanic of the stealth soldier but I died to one and now the grand hall doesn’t spawn them anymore. I’ve had at least a hundred straight attempts at getting one and they’ve stopped coming. So I guess don’t die or else you lose a spawn point?
Interesting... I've never heard of that behavior before. I assume you are performing a room reset by moving two areas away from the Grand Hall? Returning to the Castle Chapel should reset odds, I think.
@@KHGuides I did two room resets, and for whatever reason they stopped spawning in the great hall after getting killed once. I had to reset my entire game to fix it
On PS3 all I had to do was summon Bambi inside the treehouse and when I dismissed him Donald and Goofy would respawn stuck somewhere (I think up a level on the outside). I would use Bambi to get my MP back and it just happened to fix the issue for me. When I redid it on PS4 I didn’t even know they didn’t attack on that version since they were never near it to be able to.
This guide is awesome. Just some other things I want to add that helped me as I was doing it myself. When hiding from his beam attack, you have enough time to stop the clock AND reset wind magic from the menu just in case you get hit during the next cycle. The other thing is once you do this, highlight cure in the menu and back out before resuming the fight. This way if you ever need to cure quickly, you don't need to navigate the menu as much.
I tried this guide on the OG KH1 (not the 1.5 remix) so some accessories and abilities aren’t available, but this guide still helped me beat the ice titan on the first go! It also did help that I’m on level 70 with the Ultima keyblade. Now on to try my hand at beating Sephiroth.
I don’t know how but by some miracle I beat Unknown. Now I have to contend with the bane of every rpg and and universally known badass. Seriously, this guy is so popular, he’s crossed over to other games.
It's probably been said already, but if you're quick enough you can summon Tinkerbell right at the start of the fight before the first silence goes off, giving you more reliable healing throughout the fight as long as you don't mind not using the other summons as a tradeoff.
While I definitely appreciate the guide, I gotta compliment the overall effort and editing put into the video. Like the map with COM Sora moving around. Just, such a nice touch.
As a kid playing KH1 on the PS2, I never used Aero magic because it seemed boring, as an adult it's insanely obvious how good it is 😆 I recently played through KH2FM and it was the same case for Reflega
I forget you can’t use strike raid when Tinker Bell is out but still managed to fumble my way through the battle first go. Granted I’m level 100. Had to grind it for the trophy anyway so may as well take advance of that :p
I looked at this tutorial for some help and then magically beat this last phase first try (The second Phase before took me 2 dam hours to beat and i was going absolutely insane)
About casting stop, the reason why you might miss all 3 with a single stop cast is because of the option "auto-target". It's set by default and will help you target the nearest enemy with whatever action you are doing. The issue with this is that any magic cast will be centered at the enemy, which means that the stop radius starts at the enemy targeted and not at Sora. Turning off auto-target will ensure that unless you are locked onto an enemy, you can cast magic at Sora. Regardless, I wouldn't suggest this method, with high magic enough you can spam Blizzard to catch all 3 monkeys and if any escapes you can spam Thunder to catch it in time.
Ive been stuck on this fight for hours now, it ridiculous just how hard it is. Really trying to enjoy this game but the difficulty of it all is making it hard for me to get into this franchise and becoming a fan. Truly this game is something i wont revisit once i finish it. Too frustrating.
Despite running a magic build for most of the game, I found this fight significantly easier with an attack based loadout and simply stacking plenty of fire restistance. The Ifrit Belt from the white trinity in Agrabah's Cave of Treasure is perfect. Add another generic fire resist item on top, use your MP primarily to upkeep Aero, cure once or twice if needed and just keep whacking her. No idea how well this "facetanking" strategy works on proud mode, I very much assume a bit more finesse and defensive play will be needed, but it's enough to make the fight trivial on normal difficulty.
I gave one last chance to Kingdom Heart Licence, then it was this boss fight...i uninstalled all the 3 game. I will never touched this shit again. No offense for the fan of the saga.
I just beat her and found that thunder/thundara rings are very helpful, especially on proud mode, but I'd also recommend taking off any combo pluses and using the Wishing Star keyblade, as every final hit is a critical.
