Holy, you even managed to get the Sayori grid head scare, which only has a 6.25% chance (1/16) and ONLY appears if something else didn't happen before (1/6 chance ith 2 possible occurrences). I know I am 3 years late to this video but this is one of the best let's plays I ever saw!
I can tell you understood the value of this game in comparison to this decade's games and im glad your enjoyed it and shared the playthrough! We used to get games just as amazing several times a year in the 2000's, so I appreciate anyone who shares their experience playing games of that era.
1:09:30 I'd say the logic is a bit off here. You shouldn't avoid using the coin just because you already have a card that fits your current mana amount. The value of the coin goes down as the game progresses. The earlier you use it, the better.
Ok, I'm seeing what the problem was, now. Rarran is using played winrates to decide if a card is better than another card, but he's not doing the analysis work, he's just treating the raw data as a conclusion. Wish upon a Star's played winrate is going to be higher than the card's quality because you're not going to play it unless you have either a decent board or crazy good control options. Party animal is kinda the opposite effect, in that it's a commonly drafted 2 drop, meaning that if it didn't get played on two, it's more likely you missed your curve. Meaning if it comes down on two, you probably have your curve, improving the win rate for when that card is played.
Played winrate is biased in favor of alpha strike cards and biased against curve cards. The only stat that really matters for the purpose of which cards to draft is deck winrate. (obviously there are spots where you don't take the card with the highest deck winrate, but those spots are determined by local analysis, not by any *other* stat)
@@YMasterS You can ask any infinite arena specialist you want (dreads, judge, kolst, veritas etc). They will all tell you the same thing: stats are overrated and a lot of drafting choices should be done ignoring all of them, but the most important stat IS deck winrate.
@tudornaconecinii3609 you can't ask any of them and get that response because I'm giving you a different response, and I'm in that category. Besides, my points were about played winrate, not deck winrate.
This is definitely one of the best playthroughs out there. Your reactions are very genuine and it was clear how much you related with Sayori. Also, kind of endearing how taken aback you got by Monika's meddling with the files :P Although DDLC was made by a very technical person, he made sure that it's accessible to as many people as possible in terms of backgrounds. Having that said, it's been 3 years since this vod was posted. I wonder if you looked into DDLC Plus? It has more content in the form of Side Stories. No horror though. Just bring tissues. Might not be the best thing to stream though 😅 Another thing, a bit of a psychological horror game that actually might be pretty entertaining for a stream is Needy Streamer Overload (aka Needy Girl Overdose). It's much shorter but has around 27 endings. It's about you managing a girl trying to become a famous streamer. I'll leave it at that :P
Thresh is one of my favorite characters. He just wants to cause chaos. I still have a theory that maybe he’s one of the demons but I also don’t completely like the theory because I just want thresh to be a being of chaos for no other reason except he can and will. He helped start the ruination on purpose
When this trailer first came out and we got the reworked it was the absolute best. Seeing everyone’s reactions day 1 to him and the trailer was hilarious.
38:53 Easily the top WoW cinematic moment for me beside Sylvanas breaking the crown and sundering the barrier between worlds. Anduin looks around in dismay and in that moment wants only to save his people. Its as if The Light heard his plea and the chills as Shalamayne responds and felt Anduin's desperation and acted as if of its own accord as a conduit to allow him to channel enough power through The Light to cast the most epic MASS battle res ever. I like to theorize he saw and could commune with his father in that moment and that Shalamayne houses a splinter of Varian's soul. WoW lore is a clusterfuck of retcons and I don't pay much attention to it but thats my fanfic. Seems Anduin's time in the cathedral and under prophet velen's tutelage was time well spent. Manduin will make a fine paladin.
