We’re Dunc & Soph. For the past 3 years, we've been travelling Australia, throwing ourselves in the deep end of uncomfortability, spearfishing, living remote, living as much we can during this crazy short life we’ve been given. We're road-tripping through every state, following the sun around Australia. We realised life is frustratingly short, and with modern-day tech and remote working now a thing, why not? And (as Soph says) with kids on the horizon, we came to the conclusion: IF NOT NOW then... when?
Through our videos, we hope to show you some of the most beautiful places in Australia (and soon overseas!) and inspire you to explore more of our own backyard. Plus, we think it’ll be pretty cool to have something to show the grandkids one day.

It’s Paul from VIC. Well you two have settled in with parenting and there was no doubt about that. NAIA is going to do use both proud as use will for her. So pleased there will be more postings including the build and watching you both go through parenting as use will both grow stronger for her. Love to use all.
What an update, mates! Also a congratulations, because I'm sure by now you're little girl must've arrived. Don't worry about figuring out parenting because you guys will do good. Also, so happy that you guys are building your own expedition truck. Don't worry about being first time builders, the HX series has a huge community and entire threads dedicated to detailed builds. Glad to have you guys back, cheers 🤙🤙
I have an opinion about kids on the road. Usually they can converse with an adult really well and confidently, they show superior intellect and are generally a better variation of a child. Getting one on one education is far superior to the school system where a teacher is subjected to 20 plus kids, spending the majority of time on the little sh!ts instead of promoting the intellectuals.
Been wondering what you guys have been up too. Good to see ya back. Its been a while. hope all is well with the new addition to the fam-bam? Btw... Shits about to get real alright lol
Ah thanks mate. Yeah been soaking it all up! Plus she’s been keeping us away from the laptops 😂😅 Hoping to start getting back to it now. Fingers crossed we can keep up a fortnightly posting schedule 🤞🤷♀️👌
Hey guys! Hope you enjoy this one, it's good to slowly be getting back to it :D We’re busy editing the next video to FINALLY share a video, feat our beautiful little girl 🥰xx
So good to see the back story. Australia done … new 4wd mega truck… new baby daughter little Naia… can’t wait to see the next epic iteration of your life’s journey. Sooo very proud of you both - living everybody’s dream life👍 Grandad Shrimpy 🦐
I tried watching this, and wasbreally interested in the content, but the totally stupid choice of rap music and its volume drove me away, ignorant influencer marketing.
Hey! 🥰 We are really good and have gotten totally swayed by this little girl who is soaking up all of our attention these past few months. Time has really flown by. We’ll be hopefully back making content in the coming months… we’re waiting on a few things for our next travel rig which (like so many things in life) has encountered some delays. Hope you are doing well and getting in some good travels. Soph (& Dunc) x
Isn’t it beautiful and so wild, we wanted to find out somewhere totally memorable and the mountain was perfect 😍 Ha yes… aren’t we all! Thanks lovely 🥰
Hey, there was a factory recall on the original suspension so all vans that had had the wishbone installed (across a variety of caravan brands I believe) had it replaced.
Most places (or at least most known places) have signage up and within national parks they’re monitored daily by rangers. This particular place had quite a few swimmers already in the water and the water is crystal clear too
Hi Guys, great channel, thanks for creating it. Question..... have you guys tried RV Wifi 5G or Cowfish 5G with the external antenna? Just asking as Starlink is out of my price range.
Hey 👋 thanks! We’ve been a bit radio silent lately but will hopefully be stepping it back up again this year 💪 Mmm no we haven’t. We found Telstra to be pretty good in most places prior to getting Starlink but of course there are some blind spots, and in some areas (like Karijini, Optus is the only network). Sorry we can’t be of more help here. Hope there’s a few review channels covering it for you 👍
If your happy with the van then only need to upgrade a few things so be it , better than selling and buying a possible night mare , gee some new vans today arnt really that good mate , stick to ya goodie and improve it 👍all i see is you need more solar panels you have the space and put in anoth battery or two yes there heavier but cheaper and more safer than lithium , seriously i don't trust lithium not worth it ok lots are using them but when they get old and become unstable who bloody knows they can catch fire 😮 better not me buddy , and ive been building a shit list off vans since covid and coromal vans haven't ended up on it is because they look after ther customers and fix warranty problems fast 😉
Yeah we’d definitely go more solar and batteries on our next rig. We have now sold it as we’ve also bought a new rig 😉 well… a chassis cab that we’re going to build out. And well be planning for as much solar as possible, circa 2000w if we can fit it all on the roof 😝🤞 Yeah really can’t fault the Coromal warranty. We think it’s a must when buying a new van ey.
oof, how could you even last 9 months with vodafail, also optus has better service than telstra, trouble is they dont have as many towers in remote areas
It's pretty much impossible, unfortunately. Litchfield NP, was a lot better for getting a permit. In some NP around Aus if you speak to the ranger in charge they have given us permission to fly outside of the normal application process. Unfortunately it's a bit of a mixed bag and frustrating for ppl like us who want to capture some if these stunning landscapes hopefully in future there are some more balanced rules or areas within NP you are allowed to fly rather than these blanked bans.
Great review, shame they don't make them anymore. Looks like the On The Move Adventure model is this van re-incarnated with a Chinese build. I'm looking to order one
Great honest review guys.. Your caravan looks like it has been built for purpose with a few upgrades. Definitely more solar & more lithium battery power would be a bonus. 3000 watt inverter sounds perfect! Enjoy your travels in our wonderful country.. Look forward to following more of your adventures.. Cheers🍻
Thanks! 👍 We certainly can recommend the build quality of the Fleetwood Coromal's - especially for the price! Yeah, we'd love more solar and battery capacity and for our next travel rig we'll be piling on both to make sure we can live comfortably even when we're not following the sun. Take care!
Haha ok, I guess we all like different things. If you skip the intro then that song will be over and you won’t have to listen to it. 🤔 That being said your feedback is noted for our future song choices, However I can’t make any promises our taste in music will align 😂
