FREE CAMPING on this white sandy beach was top of our bucket list, and after catching an Esperance sunrise we hit the beaches for some 4wd action along Cape Le Grand National Park. We find the Lucky Bay kangaroos but MY GOD it’s windy, ha! Even the birds struggle to walk straight. Then we wrap it all up on top of the largest sand dune system we think we’ve ever seen as we travel Australia - Wylie Bay sand dunes are something else! Yep, some parts of this drive top Fraser Island, it’s mind blowingly beautiful - hopefully we do it justice?! Let us know in the comments! 🦘🌞🪻💦 🌬️ 🤸‍♂️

Absolutely agree on using your 4wd. We do so too, yes it makes them a bit less valuable but the memories are worth more then gold. Our car even has a winch which we are not afraid to use. It has saved us a couple of times ahaha!

Not sure if you got there on your trip but the other direction from town is an amazing set of saNd dunes with cliff veiws of 14 mile to 11 mile beach . There track from 14 mile takes you through the dunes around to buddy's head .... Lots abs and Amazing secret rock pool you can snrorki:)

Oh that sounds sick, we didn't make it there. I was saying to Dunc's we really need AT LEAST a month in each place and even then we'd still likely miss things. Will have to put it on the 'lap 2' list!

Ahhhh didn't we? SQUID!! sooo good. We score it & cut it into bitesize pieces and cover it in coconut flour, S&P and lemon myrtle, oh my days its so good! Hopefully Victoria is at least sunny whilst it's freezing 😳🌬️😜

I agree with using your 4wd. Why buy one if your not going to use it. We dis the south coast in February and I think we had more cloudy day than sunny

Exactly! And once you start venturing down the 4wd tracks it's hard not to keep exploring once you realise the beauty and remote beaches that can be found 😆 Oh yeah? It's such a hit and miss area hey! It was sunny for us but the wind, my god! ha
