I filled up all the STCG and LTCG details and salary break....i selected new regime. Now tax on my salary is comes out aprox. 16k and stcg is approx 4k....so total is 20k(less than rebate of 25k). But still website is showing me total tax to be paid is 4k and i got only 16k rebate.....pls someone help...is there something i doing wrong or this is how it is calculated???
Hi, I'm Pranjali. Relax and take a deep breath first. You've done correct calculation. Let me explain how. When we file our ITR in new regime, rebate of 25000 Rs in available only for tax on income that is being charged at rates under 115BAC i.e. new regime. But STCG are taxable at special rate of 15% not slab rates. Therefore, in new scheme rebate is not available on tax on STCG. So in your case, you'll get a rebate of 25 K or actual tax on 115BAC income ie 16K , whichever is lower, therefore, 16 K rebate allowed. And remaining 4K is to be paid by you. Hope this helps!
Mam mere ifsc code galat bta rha . Maine refund request bhega but wo bhi failed ho gya. Dubara submit kiya hai hai.mam mera sabhi ifsc code and account same hai. Plz refund kab tak aayega.
Mere pass 5 July ko itr process ka msg aaya tha, abhi tak refund nahin aaya na hi intimation order mila, refund status mei refund is determined, refund yet to be shared with the refund bankar show kar raha hai.
