Das Hotel liegt ausserhalb von Geschäften, Malls. Wenn man Döner oder Hamburger essen möchte, muss man für ca. 8-10 € nur mit dem Taxi hin und zurück fahren. Das Hotel liegt an der Autobahn. Spazieren gehen wäre ein Selbstmord. Zum zentrum von Istanbul kann man nur mit Taxi für mindestens 13- 15 € erreichen. Dieses Hotel sollte mindestens zum 3 Sterne herabgestuft werden. Das Frühstück ist ganz armselig. Es gibt nur eine Sorte schwarzer Tee aus dem grossen Elektrokessel. Kein Fisch/Lachs, Keine Gemüse für Vegetarier. Nur zwei Sorten billig Wurstscheiben. Für Omelett muss man extra bezahlen. Kein Baguette, kein dunkles Brott/Brötchen, nur Toasbrott. Suppe besteht aus gesalzenes Wasserbrühe. Open Buffet kostet ca. 27€ Dafür gibt es Salat, Hähnchen keule, Reis, Kartoffel, Linsensuppe. Badezimmer dreckig. Nicht zu empfehlen. Ähnlich gilt für Mercure hotel, dass nebenan liegt.
I brought up the upgrade at this WestIn hotel because they just wanted to give me a better view. My tip: Show them at reception that there is still a suite available! Because then they have to. It says: “Subject to availability” So don’t give up. Come out a winner. And stay charming and funny!

Also der Novotel schaut eh toll aus! Es war halt die Pandemie mit dem Plastik und Papier bescher und kein Getränk kam... Aber das Hotel sieht klasse aus.
Hallo Hon, Dein Lob für Novotel Bangkok (Airport) kann ich nicht bestätigen. Die berühmten Kekskrümel vom Vorgänger waren auch dort präsent, ebenso durchgelegene Betten. War ein Notfall für 1 Nacht. Restaurantbuffet dagegen OK. Ich meide seit geraumer Zeit diese Bettenburgen generell zuviele Leute bedeuten Stress, Lärm und mangelnden Service, da Massenabfertigung. Ein Hotel max. 40 Zimmer ist optimal und ruhiger. Da werden dann 3 Sterne schnell zu 5 weil alles individueller ist. Ansonsten halte ich es so wie Du, zuerst die negativen Bewertungen lesen. MfG

I saw that the windows can not be opened, so was the air ventilation good, or is it possible that someone will feel suffocating in these rooms ? Is it fast to go to Manhattan from the hotel ?
I would use this hotel for a maximum of 2 nights. You should also know that you cannot pay for anything with cash. It's a cashless hotel!! Now to your questions! Is the area safe? Police officers are on the street from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. I wouldn't go for a walk after 8 p.m. During the day - keep your eyes open. Ventilation - There is air conditioning with fresh air. But it feels rather stuffy. Is it quick to get from the hotel to Manhattan? This is relative. By taxi, Uber, chauffeur about 45 minutes. Depends on traffic. There is a ferry further away. There is also a bus. Everything should always take 45 - 60 minutes.

Endlich! Habe schon drauf gewartet. Das Hotel sieht toll aus. Auch innen sehr gelungen. Aber rund ums Hotel ist ja noch Baustelle. Schade. Wann kommt das Hotelkritik Video? Daumen hoch auf jeden Fall.

I visited the lobby lounge in the Ritz Carlton financial centre back in 2019, and since I’ve never found a recent RU-vid review of the hotel, so thankyou very much. It was a great overview of the facilities and room. The hand written note seemed like a nice touch too.
