Not too bad...... my potatoes never got as far as being planted as the ground was underwater ....The only 'harvest' I have this year is liverwort!!. count your blessings.... The point is, you grew them and they will make a lovely meal....
Leaf miners leave them looking worse than that Dave, I think it may just be all the rain. Those pulling out so easy is most likely because the roots have not had to search out for water because the rain has not stopped and made it easy for them roots and made them lazy in their search for water. That could be the most likely problem.
Dont forget Dave you planted them late this year you did say so yourself in previous vids, Still decent for late sowing , mine are small for first and second as well . this weather is crap and casuing issues, Like we have said in the past , always next year, keep the vides coming mate
hey Dave, the heat and humidity has been so bad here in VA USA all my tomato and squash plants are sick and dying off. still producing though its weird. i planted 8 okra plants 2 of them got attacked by something so i just let them be the sacrifice. 2 of my squash plants cross pollinated with the zucchini/ courgette and according to the interwebs could be poisonous. i did not plant potatoes but did plant sweet potatoes. not to be harvested until oct time frame. on the other hand herbs and flowers did great. looking forward to seeing the upgraded shed. cheers.
This year potatoes, courgettes, climbing beans, apples, carrotts, turnips, spinach and chard all worst ever. Slugs, snails and a vicious hail storm plus wet weather the main reasons. Disheartened is an understatement.
