Vernes boner for LSU was always apparent. He loved les miles. He loved tiger stadium at night. He has said many times it was his favorite place to call a game. And every time LSU's heart was broken by Alabama, you could feel it from Verne. It made it all the more sweet. You could FEEL how much he wanted it.

Man college football is so much better back in the day I miss the bcs..sense there was only 2 spots college football was a lot more competitive.. now the playoff thing ruined that.. now a 12 team playoff gosh what happened to this game.. nil things are also ridiculous..
