Great and refreshing vid, getting right to it and done in under a minute. No yelling at my screen to "hurry up and get to it!" like all the other vids I watch. Thanx huge!!!!
Ty for your easy recipe! I'm a bad Mexican, lol I never made Mexican rice before because I'm not a good cook and felt like I couldn't make it but your recipe proved me wrong. My son loved it, now I'm a GOOD Mexican!! 🤣
What makes Spanish/Mexican rice Spanish/Mexican is frying the rice first. Making traditional Mexican rice is easy. 3 roma tomatoes, 2 garlic bulbs, a quarter onion, use a vegan chicken bouillon and vegetable better than bouillon, and blend it up with 3 cups of water. Fry the rice (1 1/2 cups of jasmine) with a neutral oil(3 tbsp) on med/high until it's browning (about 5 mins). Then add your blend, when it begins to boil, turn the heat down to low(salt to taste), and cover for 16 mins. Don't open it until the 16 min is up, then fluff and enjoy.
Incase anyone wonders, i personally think sushi rice is the best kind to use for mexican rice. Just my opinion. This method also works if you toast the rice, then put it in the cooker, then add water and a bullion cube
Seems to have worked out pretty nicely but I think I would have pre-soaked the fiber instead of laying it dry and also would have wrapped it tightly with maybe some strong duct tape.
I just got a copyright strike for uploading "Night of the Living Dead" (1968) to my channel -- THE most well known public domain motion picture in history. I disputed the strike. I'll keep you updated.
@@jayweezy3264 RU-vid rejected my counter notification, claiming they didn't have enough evidence that NOTLD is public domain - even though the proof is astronomical. So, the copyright strike remains.
I did the same thing. I uploaded a video that used The Night of the Living Dead, black and white, USA, 1968, sourced with the same content used all over RU-vid and elsewhere. I got a copyright takedown request. I tried to contact the claimant directly via the RU-vid e-mail address provided, stating that it is in the public domain, citing evidence from the library of congress showing that it is in the public domain, and asking that they remove the takedown claim or prove they own the copyright to it. I waited 5 days, no reply, so I filed a counter notification. Today, I got a notice that a court case has been filed against me in Royal Courts of Justice, Strand, London. I received an image scan of the filing in the notice. In it, they state that my claim that the movie is in the public domain is based on incorrect understanding of copyright law and that the claimant is the owner of the copyright in the film "Night of the Living Dead (1968)" (work) and the Work is an original work of authorship protected under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. They are seeking damages, court costs, and an order that RU-vid permanently delete my channel due to my "repeated submission of false claims and abuse of the DMCA process." I've only submitted one, ever, and about this singular takedown. I had that video up for less than 3 days. I will wait to receive the court papers from LONDON and respond to it. I guess I need to seek legal advice from a lawyer. :/
@@M.W.VanDyke Sounds like the same people who caused my channel strike. Whoever they are has figured out that RU-vid won't step in, so they are abusing this. Night of the Living Dead (1968) is in the public domain, at least in the United States. You can't walk 10 feet without knowing that fact. I know it's easy to forget to update something like a RU-vid comment, but keep us posted on this if it goes any further, if you can remember.
By God, I was shocked when I got thrown into the video, but it was so good. What a whirlwind of emotions, I felt bewildered, awe, admiration. I subscribed.
I would be interested in a follow up video if you are still vegan. A triglyceride/HDL ratio of 5.9 is alarming. My understanding of what can drive triglycerides is sugar and starchy carbohydrates. Here is a very informative video with Dr. Robert Lustig, an endocrinologist and professor at UC San Fransisco: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C3rsNCFNAw8.html
I'm looking for a way to 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐋𝐘 turn CC off whether I'm logged into my account or not. Even when I am logged into my RU-vid account, and I have it turned off in my account settings, it still stays on! I'm very interested in finding a way to thwart this *annoyance!!!* 😒
You don't need to put ( Mexican rice ) ... BECAUSE THERE IS NO SUCH THING... HERE IN MEXICO WE COOK....SPANISH RICE IN BACON FAT....that is the Mexican Way.
There are so many ways to make cheese sauce--it's fun trying different ones--thanks! (this is one that Well Your World sells in a powder form, and he's also made it or one very similar on his channel)
man i am jealous of those green sram hoods. If they still made em i would snap them instantly. I love colour on bicycles. Nowadays all bikes seem to be dark and uninspiring.
Thanks for this video. I already submitted my claim but will not your text suggestions for future in case I need it. I got a claim for a tradition Welsh lullaby from the 1800s! Definitely public domain and especially as I'm the one who performed the music in my video.
I had just colorized a 1932 public domain movie and uploaded to youtube, youtube set restrictions to "copyright" "but owner allows the use on youtube" humm, my channel is nearly non existent, no monetization (100 subs I think) and I don't promote anything or look to expand, its a just for fun and something to do. The only way to stop this from happening is for government to take action against youtube itself. that ain't happening without lobbyists.
Works great if you pay attention to instructions. ru-vid.comUgkxviiltW7NlHbp_VL_bLbIkbLAvILVhnia For those that complain about "mushy" or "wet" rice I suspect they are using the included cup to measure rice (which is really only 3/4 cup) and then putting in water using a separate measuring cup that is a full cup. This results in too much water and you will get mushy or wet rice and think it is not done. Just use the included cup for both rice and water, or your own measuring cup for rice and water according to your package directions. It will come out fine. I've used mine for years for brown and white rice. If your machine is bubbling white froth out of the steam vent then it means you should have rinsed your brand of rice first to remove some of the starch. Sheesh. Makes me wonder how people can cook well enough to feed themselves.
I’m enjoying the bike so far ru-vid.comUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals. I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes. I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out. A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well. Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes. My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet. Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all. None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however. I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things.
Spent about 500 miles on it and so far so good. ru-vid.comUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA Pros:1. Very light2. Solid quality build3. Fast delivery: It arrived 5 weeks earlier than expected.4. Easy assemblyJust a few cons but nothing major:1. Cheap tin tubes and had flat on first day... but not a big deal. I replaced the tubes.2. Seat is a bit uncomfortable but that's pretty much the same situation with most bikes.3. Seat post is a bit long/high for a smaller size 48 bike - had to saw 2 inch off to fit properly. The lowest setting is too high. The post locking system does not seem to hold well (perhaps because I saw 2 inch off).4. wheels are not tubeless compatible (from what I can tell)
