You have around 109ah tops. Not 260. Your batteries are running in series, so 3x12v = 36v. If they were running in parallel, you'd have around 260ah. So, 80ah + 80ah + 109ah = 269ah Series is volts. Parallel is amp hours. You should've bought 3x lithium 12v/100ah batteries, if you did, you'd be getting around 30 miles and the cart would be much lighter.

The new batteries can pass more amps giving you the speed and power. Your old ones were likely heavily sulfated causing lots of internal resistance to current flow.
