Hi, my name is Marilyn and I love to make! Actually, I am obsessed with making, watching videos about making, and thinking about making. I have created this channel so that I can share with others the joy of making. So please join me for a project sometime.
In some of the descriptions of my videos, I includes links to products used in the video. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Thank you for any support you can provide to my channel.
I would have voted "no" on non-traditional fall colors but after seeing this video, I changed my mind. This is beautiful!!! Great job! Thanks for sharing another wonderful idea!
Hi Marilyn! Love the Tumbler! The colors work great. Most colors are good as long as can tell what the Season is. I'm with you on Tape, more is better!. ;-) The Tumbler Press is nice. Thank you for Tutorial. 🙂
Yes, if you have Silhouette Studio - a version that has the rhinestone panel - there is a way to do it. Too much to put in this message, but it can definitely be done.
Thank you so much!! I was on the verge of buying a new printer because it didn't print any yellow any more. Now I can go on with the one I have. I am very grateful.
My most powerful and therefore most versatile laser is the xTool P2. It is a CO2 laser and so it is expensive, in the neighborhood of $4000. The benefit of a CO2 laser is that it processes projects fast and it can cut/engrave all colors of acrylic, whereas a diode is limited to certain colors and nothing that is transparent. This Vista is my 2nd favorite laser and I have been using it a LOT. I love that it has a camera, and I can move it around my craft room by myself. The software (like that of xTool's software) is VERY user friendly. Now, I also love the xTool F1 because of its portability, but due to the size of its processing area, it's very limited. I still really like my CO2 Glowforge, but it cannot engrave on tumblers, which is now a MUST for me. Sorry this is so long, but I wanted to be detailed.
Thank you very much! Yes, the working area is up to 16.334 inches by 11.42 inches, but you can easily fit even larger pieces of wood in the machine. Today, I have been working with 20 inches by 12 inches pieces of wood because some Glowforge wood that I ordered was that size. I am limited to the working area of 16.334" x 11.42" though.
Thank you Marilyn for sharing this video. I signed up for one of the preorder lasers and can't wait to try my hand at engraving and and laser cutting. Hopefully, you share more videos on crafting with the WeCreat laser. <3
@@vanessaparnell4155 that’s great! I will be doing more videos using the Vista. I am really loving it! I just bought some more wood to make more projects 😃
Thanks for this information! I could not get my power clean to work, and I had filled my tanks, so i confirmed I was following your steps and mine would not take me to the 2nd page for confirmation. If you go one or two options over from power clean there's an option of fill tanks ... i had to go click on each one to confirm to the printer that I had filled them. Once I did that I was able to complete the steps for the power clean, which is in process now. Hope this helps for anyone who may have run in to this same issue. Fingers crossed that it fixes the blue issue!
Hi Marilyn, I am so sorry I missed your live video. I am a little under the weather today. I promise to catch the next one. You are so sweet and special to me. Sending blessings your way.💜💙💚
A diode laser can do a lot of different things. However, CO2 lasers are faster and can cut/engrave clear/light colored acrylics whereas diode lasers cannot. But, the price of a CO2 laser is a LOT more than a diode laser. I have been using another diode laser that came with air assist and I have been very happy with it for a diode laser.
What printer did you use for the DTF hack and did you have to do any modifications to the printer itself for it to work properly with the film or is it still interchangeable with the DTF hack and regular Sublimation printing on Sublimation paper?
I have used an Epson Ecotank 2760 and an Epson Ecotank 15000. I have not modified either printer to do it, so yes it is still able to do regular sublimation printing on DTF paper.
Can you email a short video to me at makingwithmarilyn@gmail.com I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to since I made this video a long time ago.
You were created for me. I actually was crying out to God to help me.. I am a 4 year college educated RN and recently left the field after 41 years and now lost. I started a business in my garage, but listening to the other RU-vid creators for crafting it was a lil helpful, but confusing and they spoke too fast. Your session on tumblers changed my journey from stagnation to going forth with understanding. I could say more, but right now , I just wanna say thank you so much for teaching me and others out there that need a gentle push.
What a beautiful comment!!! Thank you so much and I truly feel honored to be able to share whatever crafting knowledge I have. Good luck in your business!!!
I was hoping to find more here. I appreciate your video but I have already done all of the above. I may one of those people who flushing the tubes might have damaged the printer. If I do not print something in color every day, I end up having to clean the print heads AGAIN. Very annoying. Now I am trying to print from an old computer that still has the printer settings from every printer I have ever used. Despite the setting I choose, it is only printing in bllack and white. Grrr. I guess I need to delete all previous printer info from the printer dialog box.
@@MakingwithMarilyn I reached out to them. They said it does cost them more to paint the blue but lowered the price to match the white one. I like this company. They believe in customer service. They've never failed to respond back. Thanks for the videos. Love them
