I'm a host and videographer born and raised in Detroit who now lives in Downtown Chicago. The culinary world fascinates me from top to bottom, whether it's a fancy steakhouse or a box of macaroni from the grocery store that immediately the nostalgia waves crashing in. I apologize if my background as a journalist comes out and I spout off way too many facts about Steak-umms.

I think the best part of this video was Ally looking over your shoulder seeing if she could maybe get more. Or that's what it looked like😂 Great job! Carbonara is amazing.
Indomie Mi Goreng (Fried Noodles) is very addictive. I usually cook 2 packets. You can also try Mamee Chef for some soup ones if you can find them on sale. Lontong is the best, followed by Curry Laksa and Tom Yam. They are spicy.
I love listening to Sam talk about his food, and how all the flavors go together. "Do you taste the garlic and the mint and how it goes with the lamb?" Wonderful. ❤ Support your local businesses, folks! 👏
I just spiral cut for the first time the other week! I was told by a buddy to season before grilling cause he was never going back to regular dogs so I went all the way with the cut, mustard binder, and all the seasoning. It's worth the time
Great video of course but is Kufta and Kafta the same thing? Maybe you can ask your friend who owns the restaurant I don't know if it's just an American way of saying kufta we said kafta but I've always referred to it as Kafta have I been wrong all this time or is it two different things from two different countries?? 🤔 🤔🤔🤔.
Wow, what a great operation. Sam and crew are running a tight ship and the food looks AMAZING! I can see his passion in the food you so expertly capture in these videos!
those are some gorgeous Kufta! art pieces. I have really enjoyed your journey with Crave Kabob. That food looks so incredible. Nice work, S2S!! Cheers!
Great video as always, I just learned from one of your older videos you dislike of cucumbers "Did we just become best friends?"...ha I hate them, they taste like the rind of a watermelon... blah... :)
I’m not a big fan of cucumbers when they’re just unseasoned and sitting raw on a sandwich. As I’ve expanded with food the past couple years, when having them prepared in a salad like this, or if they’re suuuper in-season and ripe, and hit with some salt, olive oil or put into a concoction like a refreshing cucumber salad? I’m all about it, with the bites of meat. Just don’t go out of my way to eat them on cold sandwiches or raw from a veggie platter. 🙏
Maui has one Pita place but its extremely expensive and portions are tiny and wait is long. Everything has to be imported here. Staff is hard to get and keep. I have trouble even finding lamb shoulder to buy to grill at home. Tiny chops only.
Sean, I’m moving back to Chicago after being away for 5 years this coming weekend. One of the reasons is because I miss the food so much. I’m planning on moving to the northside. Because of your videos at Crave I guarantee I will be making the trip to try this place. The food looks amazing! I never would have known about it without you. I’ll shoot you a message when I go and maybe you’ll be free to stop over and say hi. See you guys soon. Can’t wait to try the place and support the business! Please share this message with Sam.
This is INCREDIBLE NEWS; Chicago is getting back one of its own. We’ll have some hot food ready for you upon your return, Todd. I’ll absolutely pop over to Crave Kabob and share some food with you when you’re back. Cannot wait. 🧆🥙🌯
