Pizza without cheese? It could be done, and still have other toppings on it. Sounds like Domino’s was as confused as the waitress I asked for a carbonara without cream.
Dazza, my bro. Why don't you get yourself down to the Oiishi Japanese Restaurant & Takeaway in East Kilbride Village!? It's one of the best, if not the best, places to eat in East Kilbride.
Absolutely used to love wimpy as a kid, and this takes me back, however I must say, as a food reviewer, please bone up on ur culinary skills and tastes coz what u don't like most people would love but no offence at all i love ur vidz man keep em coming ur a good laugh bro
Have you been to Upton chippy in Gainsborough? Coal fired fryer and all cooked in beef dripping.Only open on a Friday evening and Saturday lunch.Usually have to queue a while but it's well worth it. Check it out mate
Back in 1981 Wimpy was very nearly the only fast food burger option there was, outside of London. The original Quarter pounder from back then was always in a wholewheat/brown bun, one of the reasons I liked it.
An annoying thing in hindsight is that Wimpy began a decline in the early 90s as the parent company swapped locations over to burger kings for "faster service" and left only the wee high street and out of the way spots for the (first) management buyout a few years later. Economics of the millennium and shifts in the market in general hit and Wimpy kept on slipping away, no one apparently wanting made to order burgers and such in the year 2000. Plus they had a perception as being for older buyers when burgers and fast food in general were being seen more as for families with kids. Burgers that were a little bit posher didn't cut it. And now? You have scores of places with a made to order model, especially reliant on door delivery or collection. Or even relying on selling to adults first and foremost with more fancy offerings: Even McDonalds finally started getting their posh burgers working. Wimpy could have stood a decent chance in the current market if they had the means to have came back. And I think they were actually about to try. In 2019. D'oh.
I have very ordinary taste buds that love this type of stuff, I can’t stand posh dirty burgers . Can’t believe you went to Wimpy and didn’t get the most famous item the ‘Bender in a Bun’.
There used to be a wimpy in johnstone but I think I only went to it once or twice wasn't too bad, I have to say that I do miss it sometimes just looking at that food really does take you back
Fast food isn't supposed to be amazing. It's supposed to be cheap and good for the price. That's what McDonald's, Burger King and the rest have forgotten. You now get less quality and for more.
It must be pointed out... They have changed the name of a "Bender" to a "Bendy". I will never go to a Wimpy again until they change the name back to Bender. You also didn't order one, which knocks a load of marks off this video.
