If you ever have to access your speakers to service them and destroy the Coverlay dash cover in the process, we will send you a new one under warranty.
Excellent video. Would you mind telling me the color of that dash cover, please, sir? It looks like my dash (dark grey.) I need to cover mine but I'm not sure of the color. Thank you.
Thank you. The color on the video is black. If you contact our Customer Care Team at 800-633-7090 they will send you free color samples so you can better match to your interior.
Don't try this unless you are willing to risk the dash in your car. It is NOT as easy as it shows. There is no "give" in the new cover. If it doesn't fit PERFECTLY you will have a nightmare trying to get a good fit and it looks horrible in the areas it won't cover entirely. It is not as easy as it shows in this video. Tape doesn't stick and certainly won't hold the cover in tight position until cured. In a perfect lab environment it has to be difficult at best.
We are sorry you didn't have a positive experience with the dash cover installation. We see thousands of these installed each year with great results. One issue on tape sticking is if the dash has had protectants such as Armor All put on it, your right - the tape does not stick well. Also if there are fitment issues discovered during the dry fit, we recommend you call us so we can send out a new dash cover if needed. FMI call us at 800-633-7090.
Does the coverlay have a glossy finish or more of a flat look likebthe oem? I just got one of these vehicles with a glossy dash. It fits okay, but not completely esp around the left side and on the very front near the windshield
Ours are more of a flat vs. glossy finish. If you get a cover from us that does not fit well in the dry fit, or the finish is more glossy than you want, it can be returned. FMI please contact 800-633-7090.
We really need door panel covers as the door panels are also susceptible to melting. The OEM panels cost even more than the entire dashboard. Please consider making door panel covers for the 2006+ is250 is350
Yes but we always tell you to use at your own discretion. The airbag covers are an option requested by customers and are made out of a soft vinly material that fits over the dash where the airbag will deploy.
You can replace a bad speaker. Simply use a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the silicone under the cover and gently peel to remove. If the cover is damaged during this process just contact us and let us know what happened and we can warranty the part out for you and send you a replacement.
Coverlay has been in business since 1982 and we have hundreds of makes and models to choose from . FMI give us a call at 800-633-7090, or see what we offer at www.coverlaymfg.com
Not sure if any of our dealers have these listed yet on Amazon. I think some of our dealers sell on ebay. We are offering 10% off today and also free shipping in the continental U.S. FMI call 800-633-7090 (Sale ends tomorrow though).
Sure, it was listed in the caption/description of the video but here is a link for you: www.coverlaymfg.com/i-23897071-coverlay-18-798-tgr-dash-cover.html

Contact us at 800-633-7090 and our Customer Service Team can assist. If the dash cover didn't fit well during the dry fit stage, it might need some minor trimming or something of that nature. Also sending in pics of your issue will help a lot.
If the vehicle has an airbag, we always have to leave an opening for the airbag to deploy. We offer an optional vinyl cover for the area that can be installed with the dash cover if you choose to.
2007 G35 Sedan has the melting dash problem quite bad! Also a bunch of cracking. Lots of these cars got some subpar quality materials. Cannot even clean it or the sticky dash grabs fibers off the cloth. The material has separated and is lifting away on the vertical portions just left and right of the radio/AC controls all the way to the carpet. Those need to be re-adhered before adding anything.
@@coverlaymfgmy apologies, I forgot my G35 coupe in the past has a very different dash than my current sedan! Are you planning on making a sedan version?
It's generally very difficult to notice the dash under our covers. Some dash covers more than others. We have many people that use our covers to change their interior color and look. One last suggestion, if you notice your original dash color under our cover when you do the test fit (before silicone adhesive is applied) you could get a small vial of touch up paint and put that around vent openings or areas where you noticed your old dash color.
Excellent video! I just called to have swatch colors sent to me and I'm going to order one soon. I like the custom weights you made; they fit the contour over the intrument panel perfectly and nicely between the windshield and dash. What did you fill your weights with? And, would you ever consider using something like an 'edge guard' to fill the slight gap or seam between your dash cover and the center instrument cluster? (Something like TRIM LOK INC"s Edge Guard: 5/16"; Grainger Item 44M839; Mfr. Model EGB-25). TRIM LOK also makes a rubber edge guard that probably has more flex for the radius around the center instrument cluster. Just a thought. Don't get me wrong; your Coverlay dash cover is an excellent solution to having the whole dash replaced.
Thanks! The bags are filled with sand. Recently we have switched to "diver weights" that can be purchased from Amazon. We will look in to your other suggestions.
