thanks mate. I had a window stuck in the up position and this really helped. In particular, my cable tension seems to be too tight, I was strugggling to get it back in the right tracks. How can I lower the tension? The window is sliding really slowly like it is still binding somewhere, but I cant figure iut where. Maybe gearbox issue caused by too much tension?

Thank you for a well explained and informative video! @ 3:19 in the video, you insert a cable tie to release a spring loaded set-up, do you by any chance know what this spring assembly does? I'm having wire/gearbox problems on a Fiat barchetta, and want to test to change the cable tension on the window assembly to see if it solves it. My problem is that one wire leaves its track and interferes with the other resulting in noise and at worst a lock-up where the window won't budge.

i have buy the soft top covers and are really very very good. perfect quality and very easy placement! i have already order the new covers and I'm sure about the quality for these!!!
