Went from Roskie Hall to the show and was first group in! There were rumors they would play and people scoffed but sure enough. We were in the miix in the middle but the brownie's kicked in so we moved off to the side 🤣Built to Spill came through that year in a tiny bar towards Bridger Bowl. Bozeman saw a lot of good music come through. Thanks for posting
I just heard this jam for the first time on my drive out to meet a friend at the bar. It is so beautiful that I thought surely it's an omen, and the prelude to what will be a beautiful and special evening. It was.
I remember trying to sneak into this show and some hot cowboy on a horse caught us. Another Phish kid was pissed when he walked us back to the lot. He was laughing , "you can't get mad that I caught you. It's part of the game. You try to sneak in and we try to catch you." Epic night Definitely made it into the show. But hella if I know how?
The people at these shows 1993 were super uber cool, I had no idea until Summer 94 and always thought I was cool, but these people, man so ahead of all of us. ❤
Aww yeah..I talked about this jam for decades..had the show wrong as I thought it was the Polaris show, thanks for the post..Def a unique Slave, they dont make'em like this anymore
Hey I see you have a picture of the Bikini Club ticket. That's what I got too. That is a 600 seat venue, based on my memory of the time, and they switched to Zeleste to accomodate more of us sorry Americans. I was so looking forward to that run. Was this your ticket? Because I'm not sure I've ever seen a Zeleste ticket for 7/8, 9, or 10/1998.
You saw a mighty good show! Both songs are in A and I bet they saw the potential they had in Ghost and wanted to continue the cohesiveness the very next show lol
