OverlandSite aims to be the place to go for inspiration when it comes to Overlanding. We're doing major trips in on six continents. We've adventured through Northwest Africa, Central Asia, the Far East, and Southeast Asia. We've gone through Iran, Chechnya, Mongolia, Laos, Mauritania, but also Italy, Spain, and France... but I won't list all the 75 countries. We've done road trips on the East Coast of Australia, and an overland journey through Scandinavia. Right now we are traveling through the Pan-American Highway from Tuktoyaktuk, Canada, to the southernmost town in the World: Ushuaia, Argentina. If you see us on the road in the Americas, please say hi! We're sharing experiences, mishaps, happy and sad moments. But also gear advice and videos for pure entertainment. We've been guests on podcasts, RU-vid shows and were featured in major overlanding magazines. Join us on our journey and discover the world with us through the magic of overlanding.
I remember I got a tacoma just to visit dempster, dalton and other roads in the tundra of canada, It was definetly a birthday present. It's calling my name now and I should be returning soon.
Hi Im so glad i came across your video, really appreciate the effort you put into this, for sometime I am looking to get a Land rover which will be a dream come true for me, when i look in auto trader and other places i find LAND ROVER LC4 & LC5, could you give a detailed idea about series and models like you like said, I am from UK so what actually should i look when i buy a 2004 - 2009 land rover, or is there any other cheaper options available. please give me an idea and once again thank you for your video.
A small bell, whistle or even a kazoo, all are great when hiking a trail with tall thick over growth so close like that..... Glad to see you guys back - I had recently wondered why I hadn't seen anything from you in my feed for a while
Hi. I admire your travels. Let me ask three questions to you: 1) when you had the LC 120, was the car lifted? Or is everything standard? 2) at some point you removed the running boards. Why? To increase the clearance of the car? Is it better or worse without the running boards. 3) your experience is that it is possible to travel without a car lifted or is it better to make an lift? I have an LC 120 with air and you can’t just do an lift like that. Thank you for your answers and time.
1. It’s not standard. It’s been lifted about 4cm. The air suspension has been replaced with coil springs. 2. Yes to increase the clearance and it looks much better too
3. It is possible to travel without lifting a LC120. Very easily. It’s already good enough. But if you have issues with the air suspension in a remote area, then it’s a very big issue. That’s why i replaced mine with regular coil springs
It depends on which part. I wouldn’t go alone with non 4x4. Some areas are quite difficult, lots of deep crests and holes. 2wd may not be the problem but your ground clearance can be
I have to agree. I love the Northwest Territories one. On the other hand a lot of people who drive European made cars in North America put some kind of fake EU license plate on they vehicles for styling.
Basically, the Italian Government asked Fiat/Iveco to build a van for the military. This is what they came up with. The 2020+ models are insane. You should look for the Overland series. It was a televised overland/expedition documentary of a convoy of orange Iveco trucks and vans traveling all over the world. The name overlanding comes from that expedition
Thanks for your comment. I will look up that expedition. The name overlanding has nothing to do with Iveco though :) It comes from Australia, the term existed way before Iveco even made their first vehicle.
Sewardban szállt meg Szechenyi Zsigmond.Ugyanaz a családé a szálloda.

Hello! Koszi szepen!❤
Hello! Koszonjuk a kommentet!
