You can drive the bulk of it in 2 wheel drive as the old gravel “road” is still there. It’s one of my favorite trails here in the interior. In Denali, there’s a tour company that uses Jeeps to drive about 1/2 the trail if you don’t want to use your own rig. I have a Jeep Liberty and I’ve had no issues driving it.
Greetings from Fairbanks, and Nice job! I’ve driven the Stampede trail numerous times in my Jeep. Much of the “old road” is is still there from when there was a chromoly mine, hence the good-ish gravel base I’m glad you didn’t try to cross the Teklanika river as it can change quickly. Thanks for visiting the interior and I hope you had an amazing adventure while here.
@@OverlandSite Rock music in the first half of episode was overall too loud and the bass caused my woofer to vibrate. Hopefully a small adjustment. Enjoy your channel!
@@bobhewlett3633 thanks! Unfortunately i can’t change it once it’s uploaded but i will pay more attention to this when editing the next episodes. Hello from Honduras!
