She really just didn’t want to be on vacation with them. I get that she was rude sometimes, but it was supposed to be her downtime and she ended up spending it around people she just didn’t relate to or like very much.
The reactions of each character to the "non negotiables" is so funny😂 Its amazing how they actually follow it despite roasting it😂 And the light flicking making everyone think they're having a stroke😂😂
Harper was my LEAST favorite in terms of likability, but her interactions with the other more vapid couple was really entertaining. In real life, she would be the LAST person on earth to go on vacation with, talk about a buzz kill.
same here, it threw me off as I've downloaded it a month before and I've just watched it right now. i thought it could be an A24 gimmick, as they are peculiar with their movies, but it just really throws me off while watching.
no offense to the blind community but is this movie actually like this or did i downloaded the wrong movie intended to blind audience with descriptive audio?
Honestly, Aubrey made this character likable, otherwise I don’t think I would’ve liked her very much, haha. She seemed like such a downer and a party pooper but somehow Aubrey made her less unbearable to watch. What a great actress
I was on a 9 hour flight the first time I watched this movie. I remember that after watching it, I looked through all of the other movies, and finally decided I just wanted to watch Lady Bird again - so I did. Never before have I liked a movie so much that I watched it twice in a row.
My wife haa a toe in these circles having gone to an Ivy. We know a lot of people like this- entitled wealthy white people above politics and regular life problems. And we know smart hard working normal people that made it rich. Growing up i was aware of this social class only vaguely and abstractly. But yeah they're just as flawed as everyone. It's just right under the facade of wealth.
Harper seems like someone without the ability to be introspective or reflect on their own flaws. Easily my last favorite character. Just someone who puts people down because it makes her feel better. No emotional intelligence whatsoever
So disappointed this show isn't coming back, at least in the way it was for the first 2 seasons. Well it is coming back but without Renee Rapp it just isn't going to be the same.
