I hope you did this a few more times to get more of that old fluid out. I used the same style pan you have but I poured the used fluid in an old 5 quart old jug to see exactly how much came out. I replaced a little over 4 quarts in a 2007 Tacoma 2.7L 👍
Does anyone know the part number for the transmission fill bolt and gasket?? I like to have spare parts, but can’t find a part number anywhere. I’ve tried going to local dealership and they can’t locate the part either. I have a 2021 civic hatchback sport 1.5L
So nice to see the fluid change for MY truck. My 2009 Tacoma has no overfill plug, no 24mm fill plug, but it does have a dipstick! How many of these "helpful" 2nd gen Tacoma ATF drain videos apply to my setup? Almost none.
You forgot to remove the check-bolt to find out if the amount of fluid you replaced with is sufficient. I would do that first before I do the final step in turning on the engine and do the changing of gears in 5 second intervals.
Sorry to hear that , I have no idea if that would fit on your car. As you can see in the video the on I bought doesn’t fit right in my car , so just try on your maybe it will for perfectly on yours.
Thank you brother! Just happened when i parked my car and i was over here rocking my car thinking its seized lmao but my grandma just bought me the module, i also noticed some brown residue on the sticker..light works from the module but it can be getting old
They look good, try slipping the headrest through the gap that the seat cover has and then loop the strap around the headrest I saw someone in another video do that and it help up, hopefully this works out for you. Good luck brother 🤞🏻
honestly it just happened to me outside the wendys parking lot, luckily i had food otherwise I would have lost my shit lol but anyway, all I did was wait 30 min or so, watched a couple videos like this, and then tried it again, it turned on, and then made my way to autozone down the road to have them charge my battery which was at 60%
Hi. I have this issue with my 2016 civic EX-T. I followed your video and replaced the ebrake, but the light still comes on. The e brake is working just fine. Any suggestions?
@@nickbooker16 I just use the impact drill for much easier on the job. Just line those lip as perfect as you can then just screw it right on those bumpers and side skirts
WARNING - at 4:20 John attempted to turn the drain plug the wrong way. It's a wonder he did not completely strip the threads with the extension bar. Glad he corrected the problem.
